I think everybody has their own choices and preferences , and it's impossible to please ( appeal ) everyone , for some it may be mediocre or for some it might be amazing .
So , I hope you'll look at the positive sides , that yes more and more readers are engaging in the world that you created and are giving you feedback which might further help your stories and you as a writer.
