Liam
(Nudging Leo) Come on, you could’ve at least tried it once. Who knows? You might’ve been a natural. ಠ_ರೃ

(Shrugging) Maybe… or I could’ve ended up in the hospital. Σ(￣□￣)！
(Suddenly, Sophie, the birthday girl, walks over to the group with a bright smile.)
Sophie
Hey, you guys having fun? (She turns her attention to Liam) Liam, right? It’s been forever since we last talked. ヾ(〃^∇^)ﾉ
Liam
(Smiling back) Yeah, it has! Happy birthday, by the way. Great party. (^o^)/
Sophie
(Laughs) Thanks! I wasn’t sure anyone would actually show up, but here we are.
Noah
(Jokingly) Are you kidding? You are so popular plus no one’s gonna miss out on free food and cake! (≧▽≦)
Sophie
(Playfully) You will never change do you.... (Turns to Liam) So, Still on the basketball team?
Liam
(Nods) Yeah, still kicking. We’ve got a big game coming up next week. You should come watch.
Sophie
(Smiling) I’d love to. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a game. (≧∇≦)/
(Ryan stands there quietly, not quite sure how to join the conversation. He glances at Liam and Sophie, then looks away, feeling a bit out of place.)
Liam
(Noticing Ryan's silence, he nudges him subtly) Hey, Ryan, you okay?
Ryan
(Nods, quietly) Yeah, I’m fine. Just… listening
Noah
(Catching Liam’s nudge, and understanding) Oh, right! , this is Ryan. He’s, uh, a bit of a genius, but he’s too modest to say it. 😅
Sophie
(Turning to Ryan with a friendly smile) Oh, really? A genius, huh? What’s your specialty?
Ryan
(Feeling a bit flustered) Uh, nothing special. Just… school stuff. ≧﹏≦
Noah
(Playfully) Don’t let him fool you. He’s being modest. Ryan’s the reason we don’t fail half our classes 😆
Sophie
(Laughs) That’s impressive! We could all use a friend like Ryan.
Ryan
(Blushing slightly, still feeling out of place) I just… help out sometimes. 😳😌
(Liam glances at Ryan, sensing his discomfort, and decides to give him a push.)
Liam
(Leaning in and whispering to Ryan) C’mon, man. Don’t just stand there. She’s nice. Just talk to her.
Noah
(Quietly encouraging) Yeah, she’s cool, Ryan. You’ve got this. 😉
Sophie
(Looking at the three of them, sensing something) Are you guys plotting something without me? 😑
Ryan
(Taking a deep breath, trying to push past his nerves) Uh, no. Just… trying to keep up with the conversation.
Sophie
(Smiling warmly) No need to be shy. I’m just glad to be talking with you guys. So, Ryan, what do you like to do for fun? 😊
Ryan
(Pauses, then slowly opens up) I, uh… I like working on little projects. Like coding, Just… stuff like that.
Sophie
(Genuinely interested) That sounds cool!
Ryan
(Starting to feel a bit more confident) Well, recently, I’ve been working on bug testing for a software.
Sophie
(Eyes lighting up) That sounds amazing! I’d love to see it sometime. 🤩
Ryan
(Smiles, feeling a bit more at ease) Maybe… maybe I could show you sometime.
Liam
(Grinning) Look at that, Ryan. You’re doing great.
Noah
(Laughs) Told you she’s cool. 🙃😌
Sophie
(Laughs along) You guys are too much. But seriously, Ryan, I’d love to hear more about your projects. They sound awesome.
