Damien POV (point of view)

*sigh* Damien sighs for the nth time today.

" It's always the same sh*t every day " he talks to himself while walking down the stairs to meet his best friend who was waving enthusiastically.

" Hi"Hazel says when he finally reached her "are you ready for today's test" she continues after Damien waved back" I think so" he answered

"I'm sure you're not . do you you even have enough time to study while serving them" she said while handing her bag to Damien who accept it reluctantly

" I'm just fulfilling my duties, after all I'm loafing off them" . he answered with a monotone voice

"Yeah whatever" she rolls her eyes and was about to say something when she spotted someone. "OMG there is Lucian. How do I look ?" she asked him" great -"

"I know right " she cuts him off " I mean, I'm the only daughter of the brown family and he's the successor of the sky cop. we make a great couple right ?" she looks at he and continued "oh~ how do I expect you to know stuffs like that . you haven't even seen 10 bucks so you can't even imagine what a multi millionaire cop . looks like "

" I mean we are only friends because I'm the nice kid who saved you from being bullied don't you dare forget that" she ended her speech with a threat and a satisfied smirk.

She walked ahead while Damien followed with a nonchalant expression after all this was all normal

                  ~Time skip~

After the end of school Hazel and Damien parted ways .

"B*tch" he muttered under his breath and began the long journey home

Along the way home he spotted a group of teenagers his age smoking and stakeboaring In a very familiar alley

" Yo Damien" a guy that looked like the leader among the group yelled

"got the stuff " he continued and puff out smoke from his mouth

"yeah" he bought out a white substance in a sealed bag from his pocket.

the teenagers eyed the bag with lust filled eyes the supposed leader reached out to get it but Damien retracted his hand

" pay up first " he stated with his signature tone of voice

" chill man , I will , Bryan bring the cash " he said to the guy beside him

"sure boss" Bryan answered and handed the 'boss' a bulky envelope .

The boss weighed the money before handing it to Damien "this should be more than enough "

Damien check the envelope and wasn't satisfied.

"what do you take me for I almost lost my head for this and this all that you have to offer " he said and tossed the envelope back to the leader

" woah~ don't you think that this is more than enough after all boss is being kind towards you " Bryan said with a scowl on his face

" Leave it "the boss said and looked at Damien before turning to his gang" you know what to do "

They all then cornered Damien with their menacing gaze and ill intention.

~Time skip ~

Damien barely managed to get home as soon as he got in his bedroom (aka basement)he collapsed.

whWhene's vision finally returned he cussed and sat up on the ground leaning on his mossy and outdated bed.

*knock *

shortly after the door flung open and heavy footsteps and breathing was heard, but Damien stayed on unfazed

"You've grown quite some wings to steal from me, Damien "a very deep voice said while squatting to meet Damien's height

"I'm sorry uncle I needed the money "

He said with his face still nonchalant

" no now , we both know you don't mean that. But since you decided to ruin our perfect relationship you can go join the rest only for tonight though since you're my sister precious property "He ended with a growl and dragged Damien by the hair outside his room towards a weird looking door covered by scratch marks and blood

he threw Damien inside and the smell of blood quickly went into his nostrils " tell my wife I said hi ~" his uncle said before slamming the door shut .
