Chapter 02: The storm

...- Ethan's pov -...

Opening my eyes, due to the morning sunlight disturbing my sleep, slowly adjusting to the light

the damn, headache reminding me, how much I drank last night

trying to wake up, that's when I realised that there was someone sleeping beside me

It was Gwen, the woman that made my life worth living, making me forget the pressure my Dad puts me in, everyday, seeing her asleep in my arms like this, melted my heart

I wish time could froze, so that this moment could be everlasting

Recalling last night's event, as I looked at her, turned me on, I could feel myself getting harder, and want to devour her now, but I held myself back

I should be easy on her, last night was her first time

As these devilish wild thoughts ran my mind, she started moving, waking up from her sleep

for a moment, I didn't know what to do, or how to react, I found myself unmoving, it's like I suddenly paralysed

she looked at me, and I did the same " I..I " but before I could utter a word, she pulled the sheets up, and buried herself in it, leaving me dumbfounded

"Wh..what's wrong Gwen?"

"..go"

"what.!"

"I said go, leave"

"but why?" I asked confused

"just go"

"wait, are you feeling shy or something?" finally realising it, but she didn't respond "come on, what's there to feel shy about, am your boyfriend, things like this are normal for couples" hugging her

"let me go, what are you doing?" trying to resist

"come on, show me your face" while tickilng her, but suddenly her phone started ringing, it was her Dad

I could tell the tension she was in, after seeing it

she didn't pick it up

"Ooh no" she uttered, before she rushed off the bed, looking for her clothes, and started wearing them

"I..I can come with you, I ..can tell them that we're just having a party, and.." I didn't know what I was saying actually, but I just wanted to help

"no there's no need, you'll only make things worse"

" But I.."

" just don't do anything, please"

her response kinda made me feel bad, but I know she's just in so much pressure now, I'll talk to her when she calms down

...- Gwen's pov-...

Am outside the house, I can tell the storm awaiting me inside, I don't know what they'll do to me, but am prepared for the worst

taking a deep breath, I opened the gate and got in, but before I got in, I saw Nanny Lisa, who has been so kind to me than my own family

She looked at me pitifully, and shook her head

her signs, proved to me that, the situation in, is severe

but there's nothing else I can do, I have to face them, gathering all my courage, I opened the door and entered

but a loud breaking sound, was heard

I almost got hit with a flower pot, but luckily, it hit the wall beside me, while some of the pieces, cut me on the left cheek

What a sight to see, my own father wants to kill me

"You lousy brat, how dare you" he rushed toward me, and gifted me a heavy slap, which sent me down to the floor "where were you last night, and what were you doing?"

"come on Dad, it's crystal clear that she was just busy, fooling around with some men" Amanda, my stepsister said "so tell me, little sis, how many were they?"

"I don't think I have to give my answer, to a slut's daughter" seeing how irritated, my reply made her, got me satisfied

"You.." she turned her murderous look, into a pitiful one " Dad, look how arrogant she's become, though she's on the wrong, she doesn't want to apologise, instead she insulted mom and me, Dad please do something" wiping off her fake tears

"Honey, please do something I can't be insulted like this" Lourel, Amanda's mother continued with the act

Unsurprisingly, Dad fell for their cheap tricks

"I'll kill you" Dad was enraged, and now he started hitting me, with his legs, stepping on me

it hurt so much, but the emotional damage was severe, than the physical one

"Honey, stop it your blood pressure may rise again" seeing that I've had enough, and she was satisfied, she pretended to stop him

"lock her in her room, don't give her food nor water, until I say so" Dad ordered, and was about to leave, but my sudden laughter stopped him

"hahaha" I laughed, bitterly as I struggled to get up, "I really pity you Dad,.. for believing these, mother and daughter lies..instead of your own daughter, she doesn't even carry your name, your blood doesn't flow in her veins, but why, ...why you don't believe your own flesh and blood, and chose to believe..someone else's daughter Dad?, answer me"

"shut up"

"I won't" tears kept falling down from my face, despite how hard I prevented them, the pain is so much that it can kill me "I won't until you tell me why, you chose a homewrecker and her daughter, instead of your own blood"

"I said shut up" Dad gave me a heavy slap, which made me hit, my head, on the table

and that's when.. everything fell dark
