Hey! This is the rest of Chapter 3 because I wasn't able to do a full chapter. - ˩ʋƨʈ
They were scarlet and shaped like a pair of bat wings. A fire pattern raged its way up the right wing and as the hood fell off of the stranger's face, Kristen could see it went up the right-side of his neck and slightly onto his right cheek. The stranger had the purest black hair he'd ever seen, and by how tan his face was, Kristen guessed his whole body was tan. The now fiery boy led him north, toward the shimmering lights of Rose-Well City. Kristen found himself thinking back to when he was only 7 years old and visited the city with his parents...
Flashback...
"What do you think, Wildfire?" His father asked, looking down at him while holding his hand.
"It's amazing, Papa! Look at all the bright and flashing lights everywhere!" Kristen squeaked excitedly,
"Hehe yes, little one. The humans love light, they believe it keeps them safe from all the bad monsters that live in the dark." His mother's sweet voice filled the quiet air.
Kristen shook his head to clear it of the happy memory, suddenly flapping harder to fly beside the stranger.
"Who are you?" He asked, turning his head to look at the other boy's tattooed face.
"My name is Tyrant Miner, but you can call me Ty." The stranger, Ty, turned to look at him, giving him a side smile. His eyes were an amber colour ringed with a fiery red and there was a scar that ran down from his left temple to his cheek.
He looked so beautiful.
Kristen felt himself begin to flush, so he looked from the unbearably sexy guy on his left to infront of him at the city that grew closer with each beat of his wings.
"My name is Kristen... Kristen Hunter. I don't really have a nickname, but my parents used to call me Wildfire..." The name sent an ache through his body and he made himself focus on the bright lights ahead.
"We shouldn't need need a glamour since the humans are usually going inside or are in bed by now. Follow me, I know a place where we're can lie low." Ty's voice was rougher than his, but it sounded nice. Comforting in an odd, strange way. So they flew gracefully toward wherever Ty's place was. Kristen couldn't help himself as he began tucking in his wings and diving, spinning like a top toward the ground, then opening his them and shooting back up to Ty. As Kristen came back up next to him, he saw that Ty was grinning widely, making his whole face seem to light up. Kristen could only stare and blush, smiling like an idiot back at Ty.
"Looks like you love flying. Don't worry," He flipped himself over and slipped under Kristen, still grinning,
"I love it too."
