“Jamie I’m not joking around, there psychos!” Rose complains walking back and forth.Jamie is Rose's childhood friend so their bond is beyond, like sisters. “Calm down, it couldn’t have been as bad as you said,” Jamie said, attempting to calm Rose down. “Calm down?! That idiot almost ripped my uniform, and may I remind you almost kicked my face!” Rose yelled, grunting at the glimpse of his face.
“You know what, I don’t even care. Once our school gets recovered we can all go back to an asswhole free life !” Rose sighed in relief. “Yeah that's if it stops breaking apart every six seconds” She snickers. “What?” Rose charges to see when Jamie turns her phone.
“You haven't heard? It's the laughing stock of the entire school. It’d probably take more than a year to repair” Roses jaw drops, watching as the construction team runs away from the construction area on camera. “Dear god why… no, no, no hell no! I couldn't even last my first day without that idiot almost murdering me!” Rose dramatically cries, lying on her bed.
“Why don't you just tell jack?” Jamie asks. “Well im not stupid, that’d be the first thing i’d do, but like… Ughh, after the kiss in the library i-” Rose stops, she immediately turned towards jamie. “Kiss? Your kidding… Roseabelle Lawrence kissed Jack davidson in a library?! You never told me this!” Jamie fell to the ground in laughter, she couldn't believe it.
“And this is why i haven't told you…” Rose sighed, rolling her eyes. “wait , wait so when did this happen. How? What?!” she jumped up, curling herself into Roses snuggly blue pillow. “Well it all started…”
It all started during intermediate years. I just recently turned twelve while Jack turned thirteen. It was quite a summer like weather, everyone was happily playing outside with their melodramatic drama. While I, I was reminiscing through the books in the library, dancing my eyes through the pages of each word that sparked my eye. The air was warm, but the aura that enlightened me became stiff as a familiar voice called my name.
“Rose!” I lifted my head, and saw him… “What's the alpha of the school doing here?” I giggle, as he sits down next to the white steps where I sat. “Not much, just checking out the library” he said, staring at me with his charming eyes. “You? In a library? Never heard of it” We both laugh, when the awkward air awakens his voice becomes deep and soon we are face to face.
“Jack in-” His eyes stared into mine, everything felt like it faded away. A love story meant to be? No. But before I could pull back, our lips were touching. Regret and guilt started piling up in my body, but what for? “I have to go!” ever since then, i haven't talked to him since. He tried calling me, texting me, but I just ignored him.
“Now he has a blondie as his girlfriend, she's the definition of Kate Hudson, and Regina George. I don't care about him, he's made my life worse!” Rose stuffs her face into her pillow, almost suffocating herself. “Damn… That's harsh. Wait have you told your cousin?” Rose flips a thumbs down, hitting her head into the pillow.
“I am going to tell her this upcoming holiday, she's my therapist, she's always been for my entire life.” rolling off her bed onto her floorboard, hitting her head on her lamp. “She sounds like someone I need in my life, my parents are a pain in the asses they always fight. I'm glad i came here, so can you tell me more stories of you guys?” Rose nods, and goes on talking about her cousin.
Estella Lance, Rose and Stel as she calls her are practically sisters. They fight, make fun of eachother, and help them at their worst. Rose would prefer Estella over anyone, other than her parents, well maybe even them. She's her secret machine, anything that goes into her never comes out unless it's them going through their hilarious memories together.
