"What are you doing?" Xue Xingrui asked coldly. "I didn't expect Lord Hua to be here. Are you also hiding the fugitive of the kingdom?!" Xue Yanzhong said accusing Xue Xingrui.

An arrow was shot towards Dongfang Qingyuan but it was not Dongfang Qingyuan who was hit but Xue Lingyuan. Dongfang Qingyuan turned around and saw Xue Lingyuan hit by the arrow. Dongfang Qingyuan's eyes widened and caught Xue Lingyuan's body before it fell.

"Lingyuan, why are you so stupid?" Dongfang Qingyuan asked with tears welling up in his eyes. "Thank God, you're okay." Xue Lingyuan said smiling before closing his eyes. "Lingyuan!" Called Dongfang Qingyuan but Xue Lingyuan did not answer.

An arrow headed towards Dongfang Qingyuan again. Dongfang Qingyuan caught the arrow use the empty hand before releasing the arrow back at the archer. The arrow pierced the archer's heart.

Dongfang Qingyuan lifted Xue Lingyuan's body to the front of his residence before placing it there. "Don't worry. I'll kill them all for you." Dongfang Qingyuan said with a faint smile.

Xue Xingrui was exhausted by the large number of troops. "Xue Xingrui, retreat. Otherwise you might get hurt." Dongfang Qingyuan said coldly. Xue Xingrui retreated but was still attacked by soldiers. Xue Zhengming pulled Xue Xingrui back.

"Red Ghost, you'll see it today." Xue Zhengming said then checked Xue Lingyuan's condition. "How is his condition, royal uncle?" Xue Xingrui asked worriedly. The soldiers attacked and Dongfang Qingyuan also attacked.

In an instant the soldiers fell and were covered in blood. All of them died. "Imperial brother, did you bring a physician?" Xue Zhengming asked when he saw Emperor Xue Feng Ning get off the horse carriage.

"Stop!" Emperor Xue Feng Ning said angrily. "You can't stop him now. First, you need saved Xue Lingyuan and Xue Yanzhong can live." Xue Zhengming explained.

Half of the soldiers had died. Dongfang Qingyuan was still continuing. Lu Ming immediately joined in to stop Dongfang Qingyuan. But Lu Ming was injured by Dongfang Qingyuan. All the remaining soldiers retreated in fear. "Your job is to protect this prince and the Royal family." Xue Yanzhong said feeling big-headed because Emperor Xue Feng Ning came.

"You almost killed your brother. You brat." Emperor Xue Feng Ning said angrily. "He defended the rebels. He deserved to die." Xue Yanzhong said in disbelief. Emperor Xue Feng Ning wanted to explode hearing his son's words.

Lu Ming was overwhelmed by Dongfang Qingyuan's attack. Lu Ming fell because of the strength of Dongfang Qingyuan's attack. Before the sword pierced Lu Ming's heart. Someone stood in front of Dongfang Qingyuan. The sword stopped right at Lan Zhi Xuan's clothes.

Dongfang Qingyuan's eyes widened. Luckily Dongfang Qingyuan's movements were fast otherwise Lan Zhi Xuan would have died in his hands. "Are you crazy?!" Dongfang Qingyuan said angrily.

Dongfang Qingyuan just kept quiet and walked back to the residence. "This general pays his respects..." "Xingrui, you stay here to guard your younger brother." Emperor Xue Feng Ning said in response to Xue Xingrui's nod. Emperor Xue Feng Ning, Eunuch Hong and Lan Zhi Xuan followed Butler Ning, Xue Zhengming and the physician.

The wound was bandaged by the physician after being given medicine. The physician did it carefully. After finishing, the physician looked at Butler Ning. "I didn't expect it to be you. Until the end of his life, he still mentioned your name." Xue Zhengming said sadly as he looked at the red string bracelet on his hand. "Don't worry, Ming er. I will protect him. This time I will help you complete the task you gave me." Xue Zhengming said with a sad smile.
