Twisted Love, Deceptive Truth
Ep.14
The day had finally arrived. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as guests gathered in the beautifully decorated venue.
The room was adorned with vibrant flowers, and the scent of roses and jasmine lingered in the air.
A traditional davul (drum) and zurna (wind instrument) played in the background, filling the atmosphere with a lively, festive energy.
Ziya, dressed in a stunning red bridal gown, stood in front of him, her heart racing with a mix of nervousness and excitement. Her gown was adorned with intricate lace and delicate bead work, her hair styled elegantly beneath a sheer, flowing veil.
As Ziya descended the stairs, her red wedding dress flowing elegantly around her, Zeynil couldn't help but voice his admiration.
Zeynil
"You look stunning in red, Ziya," he said softly, his eyes filled with love.
Ziya smiled back, her heart fluttering at the sight of him.
Zoran
Zoran, standing nearby, was equally mesmerized by her beauty. He nodded in agreement, his voice playful yet sincere. "For once, I have to agree with Zeynil."
Ziya
Ziya was surprised for a minute seeing him there along with Zeynil, but she composed herself. 'Of course, he will be here; Zeynil and Zoran are childhood friends; even their families know each other well.' she thought to herself.
Zoran
"You look absolutely breathtaking Sweetheart", he whispered, his gaze locked on Ziya.
Zoran's comment increased her heartbeat again. She became worried seeing his unpredictable actions; no one knew what he might do the next minute. She took Zeynil's offered hand, and together they made their way to the ceremony, accompanied by the sound of joyful music.
The officiant began the ceremony, and Ziya found herself struggling to keep her attention on Zeynil and the vows they were exchanging.
Zoran was there too, standing among the guests with a casual stance, his eyes following her every step. His presence was impossible to ignore, a constant reminder of the tangled web of emotions and memories they shared. The look in his eyes was intense and unreadable, and it sent a wave of uncertainty through her.
Zeynil
Zeynil’s voice broke through her thoughts as he began his vows. “Ziya, from the moment I saw you, I knew you were the one I wanted by my side for the rest of my life. I promise to love you, protect you, and cherish you, no matter what challenges we face.”
His words were sincere, filled with the depth of his feelings for her. Ziya looked into his eyes, finding the strength she needed to push away her doubts. This was the man she had chosen, the one who had always been there for her, steady and true. She squeezed his hands, a silent affirmation of her commitment.
Ziya
When it was her turn, Ziya took a deep breath, trying to steady her voice. “Zeynil, you have been my strength, my guide, and my love. I promise to stand by your side, to love you, and to build a future with you, no matter what comes our way.”
Her voice wavered slightly, and she caught a glimpse of Zoran from the corner of her eye. He was watching her with an intensity that made her heart ache, but she forced herself to focus on Zeynil.
The officiant continued, asking if there were any objections. The room was silent, the moment stretching on longer than it should have. Ziya’s breath caught in her throat, half-expecting Zoran to say something, to make her stop. But he remained silent, his expression unreadable.
"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife,” the officiant declared.
Zeynil smiled, lifting Ziya’s veil. He leaned in, his lips brushing against hers in a tender kiss that sealed their vows. The guests erupted in applause, but Ziya barely heard it. Her mind was still reeling from the emotional whirlwind she had just endured.
Zeynil
As they pulled away from the kiss, Zeynil whispered, “You’re mine now, Ziya. Forever.”
