Mori Philips
It is good to see that you are doing alright. *smiles*
1840's man
Why yes, thank you for your concern. *Bows down a little.*
In this era where Workers are doing their best to sustain for their loved ones. A heartbreaking scene to see people break their bones just for one penny each day.
Mori Philips
*looks outside the window.* I've heard that you opened a shop nearby.
Seeing the people running around the streets, hurrying as they stress over their jobs.
1840's man
Ah! I can see that you have heard the news about my newly opened shop! *happy*
The man happily shares his experience from the shop. How happy he is.
1840's man
But alas, I need more workers if I want my shop to be known by the many. *in distress*
Mori hums, still looking and watching the poor people outside.
Mori Philips
Why not just make those people work for you? *points outside*
smiling elegantly did Mori point at those busy people outside. It's hard to find a job in this era. Poor people need to work a lot of times to sustain a good living.
1840's man
Ah... Those? *peeks*
Mori Philips
"Those"? *thoughts*
Mori rises his brow as he heard the hesitant voice of the fellow man before him.
1840's man
I do not think they are... Capable of such job ... don't you think so? Mr. Philips? *looks at Mori*
Mori Philips
What do you mean by not capable? *question*
Mori asks the man. Is it because they are poor? The lack of education?
Mori Philips
Your shop needs workers, right?
Mori Philips
Then why are you hesitating?
By Mori's words, the man halts as he felt like his words aren't going out of his mouth.
Mori Philips
This people can work if taught well. What's more, it is like killing two birds with one stone, for you have workers to elevate your shop and this can rise them through poverty. *serious*
Mori was right. The man was still thinking about such an idea but at the same time it might work for both parties.
1840's man
I'll... Think about it. Thank you, Mr. Philips. *Smiles*
the man says in a polite manner.
After discussing more about a lot of things from here and there... a lot of years has passed by in a blink of an eye...
Putting down his coffee cup. Mori sighs as he sits inside the coffee shop.
waiter
more coffee? *asks*
The waiter softly asks as he looks at Mori with a questioned look.
Mori Philips
No, I'm okay. *softly rejects*
The waiter bows down as he leaves.
Soon after, Mori left the shop, the door bells rang as his long silver hair swifts when the wind hit his way.
It was getting dark that time as a kid appeared Infront of Mori.
kid
Hey, mister. *looks at Mori*
Mori Philips
Oh. Hey there, kid. *looks down at the kid.*
The kid looked up, Mori's tall figure was really something.
Mori Philips
... I am? *awkward*
The kid nods in Mori's question
kid
And very handsome too! *points at Mori's face*
Mori flinches when the kid says those words. Mori has heard a lot of compliments but he's still not used in handling them.
Mori Philips
T-Thank you...
kid
When I grow up, I want to be as handsome as you! *giggle*
After that, the kid's parents called for him as he waves Mori goodbye. Mori waved goodbye slowly as he watches the family walk away from where he stands.
