Shawn and Caspian sat opposite to each other uttering nothing.
Shawn didn't expect Caspian to show up in his house.
Shawn was deep in thoughts.

What does that dream signify?? Why did I see Carlene in it?
Shawn
Her death has nothing to do with me, right??
On the night Carlene went missing, Shawn dreamt about his late girlfriend holding the hands of Carlene and smiling brightly at him.
Carlene said, "Don't worry, it's my turn now. Take care of him."
They walked further and further away from Shawn.
Caspian
She... She wasn't someone who had to die this early.
Shawn
You... Do you remember anything from that night??
Caspian
All I heard was a shout and I rushed out, but she was already gone.
Shawn
The police said that her ring was found at the entrance. Did you see it??
Caspian
Her...her ring?? I didn't see that.
Shawn
What's up!? Heyy!! Are you alright!?
Caspian fainted again and was taken to the guest room.
After a few hours, Caspian woke up with a sudden shock trying to grab someone. He grabbed Shawn's hand and said

Somebody knocked me out!!!
Caspian
That night, I rushed out when I heard Carlene scream. When I reached the road somebody knocked me from behind.
Shawn
You.... You weren't found on the road....
Shawn
You were lying unconscious in the hall.
Caspian
Who...who found me!?
Shawn
Your aunt....!! We..... We have to find her....!!
Caspian
Wait!! Wait...wait!! If my aunt found me, then the police should have already taken her statement. Ask them!!
Shawn
Heyy!! Did you take Caspian's aunt's statement??
Shawn went through the records, but there was nothing suspicious
by evening, Caspian returned home.
Caspian went to Carlene's room. In the bottom most rack, he found a package addressed to Carlene and dated a month back. It was unopened.
Caspian took the box out and opened it.
As Caspian opened it, he found a picture frame with letters craved around of unknown origin. The frame had no photos
The words engraved reminded him of Shawn's mother. She was skilled in it.
Next morning, Caspian went to Shawn's house.
Shawn
What brings you here again??
Caspian tosses the frame into Shawn's hand

Caspian
You know better, don't you?? You know exactly what I mean.
Shawn
You... Are you blaming me??
Shawn
Look.... Look!! I know what you are being through right now.... but you can't just blame it on others.... And don't you know me better!?
Caspian's anger was at peak. He blamed Shawn for his loss even though he was pretty sure that Shawn wasn't the one to be blamed.
