A dark corridor. Athena and Adrian's souls have been transferred into the bodies of Alvin and Davina. They awaken side by side, disoriented and confused

(groggily) "Adrian? Where are we?"

Alvin (Adrian)ML

(looking around) "Athena, is that you? We need to start calling each other Alvin and Davina now."

Davina (Athena)FL

(nodding slowly) "Right. Alvin and Davina. But where are we? What part of the novel did we transmigrate into?"

They scan their surroundings, finding themselves in a dark, narrow corridor. The air is tense with the faint sounds of movement and whispered voices. They cautiously begin to look around.

Davina (Athena)FL

It seems we're at the point where the villain and villainess save the female lead. We need to be careful."

Alvin (Adrian)ML

(whispering) "Let's split up. I'll go left, you go right. Stay alert."

They move cautiously through the corridor, (Alvin) heading left while (Davina) goes right. The tension is palpable as they search for the source of the noise. Suddenly, (Davina) hears a faint cry for help.

She moves stealthily towards the sound, entering a dimly lit room. There, she sees a girl tied to a chair

(whispering to herself) "What an ethereal beauty..." (breath hitching, then regaining composure) "Focus, Davina."

Help me, please... I didn't do anything wrong. I don't know why I'm here 🥺

Then davina moves a little further to a corner of the room

Davina (Athena)FL

(speaking into a hidden earpiece) "Alvin, we've got a civilian."

Alvin (Adrian)ML

(over the earpiece, shocked) "A civilian? How can there be civilians? We were told there wouldn't be any civilians here."

Davina (Athena)FL

"I think she might be the novel FL "

Alvin (Adrian)ML

What? The FL? Are you sure?

Davina (Athena)FL

Yes, we have to save her."

Alvin (Adrian)ML

But why? Isn't that the whole novel about trying to save this girl who wasn't even related to them? Kill her 😠

Davina (Athena)FL

(eyes widening) "What? Kill her? Are you kidding me?"

Alvin (Adrian)ML

No, I'm not. The higher-ups said if there are any civilians, we must kill them. There should be no witnesses to our work.

(Davina) looks back at the girl, conflicted. She takes a deep breath and responds firmly.

Davina (Athena)FL

No, I won't do it.

Alvin (Adrian)ML

😠😠"Are you kidding me right now? We're in the middle of a mission. Stop being an emotional wreck and do your job."

Davina (Athena)FL

"Okay..." (cuts the transmission, walks towards the girl)

The girl, having overheard part of the conversation, looks terrified.

Lily(Novel Fl)

(fearfully) "Are you going to kill me now?"

Davina (Athena)FL

(softly) "No, I'm not. I won't kill such a beauty." ☺

She unties the girl and lifts her over her shoulder, carrying her out of the room. Whispering to the girl, she tries to keep her calm.

Davina (Athena)FL

"Shh, don't make a noise now. I'm getting you out of here 🤫

She heads towards the rendezvous point where (Alvin) is waiting. As she approaches, (Alvin) sees her carrying the girl and his expression hardens.

Alvin (Adrian)ML

😠Why did you not kill her? Didn't I say that?

Davina (Athena)FL

I can't kill her. She's innocent. She doesn't even know what's happening 😾

Alvin (Adrian)ML

Do you even believe that? She doesn't know anything?

Davina (Athena)FL

Yes, I do believe.

Alvin (Adrian)ML

(sighing) "Fine. Let's go. I've killed everyone else and set the bomb. We have five minutes to get out of this building. Now, come on, let's go."

They begin to exit the building, moving quickly but carefully. As they get fifty meters away, the building explodes behind them, and the girl flinches.

Davina (Athena)FL

It's okay. Nothing's going to happen to you.🫂

They reach their vehicle and Davina places the girl in the backseat before getting in. As they drive away, (Alvin) begins to voice his concerns

Alvin (Adrian)ML

What are we going to do about the girl? How are we going to respond to the higher-ups or the chief?

Davina (Athena)FL

I'm not going to tell about anyone this girl. I'll tell them there were no civilian casualties 😐

Davina (Athena)FL

I'm going to keep her with me until she can speak properly and tell me where she's from and what she was doing there. Until then, she's going to stay with me.

Alvin (Adrian)ML

What about your family?

Davina (Athena)FL

Doesn't matter. I'll tell them she's my friend and she's going to stay for a few days. It's not like they've ever been suspicious of the friends I bring

Alvin (Adrian)ML

Oh, the friends you bring? You know the real villainess never does that, right? 🧐

No she does at least I got that memory of hers clear 😒

Alvin (Adrian)ML

(resigned) "Fine. Let's go to your house."

They drive off into the night, the future uncertain but their resolve firm. Meanwhile, (Davina) glances at the girl in the backseat, who is still trembling with fear. She gives her a reassuring smile

Davina (Athena)FL

It's okay. We'll figure this out. You're safe with us.

The girl, though still scared, nods slightly, clutching at the seatbelt as they speed away from the scene of destruction
