The sun peeked through the sheer curtains of Damian's penthouse, casting a warm glow over the room. Lila stirred, momentarily disoriented, before the events of the previous night came rushing back. She turned to find Damian watching her, his eyes soft with an emotion she couldn’t quite place.

"Good morning," he said, his voice a gentle rumble.

"Good morning," Lila replied, a smile tugging at her lips. She felt a strange comfort lying next to him, as if they were two halves of a whole finally brought together.

Damian reached out, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "How are you feeling?"

"Surprisingly good," Lila admitted. "Last night was...intense."

He chuckled, the sound deep and rich. "It was. I've never felt such a strong connection with anyone before."

Lila's cheeks flushed. "Me neither. It's like we were meant to find each other."

Damian's expression grew serious. "Lila, there's something you should know about Alphas and Omegas. The bond we share isn't just a physical attraction. It's deeper than that—an instinctive, almost primal connection."

Lila listened, her curiosity piqued. "What do you mean?"
