Evelyn came to know that and decided to not tell her feelings to him.

Between Xander and Luna, Xander was happy but Luna she only uses him to anger Evelyn and for taking revenge. Ria knows about luna how she always make trouble for evelyn and only thinks about her. That's why she told that Luna as selfish in front of Xander.But she knows that her brother feelings hence she kept quiet.
Aurora family and carter family were rivals (for outside world) in business. so they always wanted to lead over Carter's company. They cheated on some projects( not known to Luna), so their company faced a lot of losses. They blamed Carter's company for taking the projects. Luna who saw her parents depressed was frustrated.And as adding salt to the injury, luna's dad got into accident and went into coma.
Luna 's uncle who made this situation in favour of him told that Carter's family was the reason for her dad's situation.
Well, luna's uncle got some important role. We will see later.
