S1 (Chapter - 1)

Jeong Gukk felt a painful ache in his head, as well as a little cold because of the wind and rain falling on him.

Rain? Jeong Gukk wondered, how could the rain get to him? Shouldn’t he be in the cave?

After taking a deep breath, Jeong Gukk quickly determined that he was not in the cave, or even in the deep mountains below the cliff.

“Hey, are you okay?”

“Look at him like this, he’s unconscious, right?”

Jeong Gukk listened to the surrounding voices, slowly opening his eyes a slit; although his vision was blurred, he could still see a crowd around him. He’d been blind for so many years, how could he see like this?

“You’re fine,” Yun Seojun sighed and said, “Why are you so careless? You almost got hit by a car on your birthday, where’s Kim Mingyu? Didn’t he accompany you?”

As soon as Yun Seojun’s words were finished, Mingyu pushed through the door. He glanced at Yun Seojun first before looking at Jeong Gukk with a frown, saying, “How old are you, lying down on the road? Isn’t it just that I didn’t spend your birthday with you? There’s a limit to your anger, right?”

Yun Seojun looked at Jeong Gukk and said, “Gukk, since he didn’t mean it, don’t be angry. I have a birthday in a few days; we’ll have both our birthdays together, okay?”

“I’ll make it up to you. I’ll throw a big party and invite your other friends to celebrate your birthday,” Kim Mingyu said with a look at Jeong Gukk, “So, are you satisfied?”

Jeong Gukk sneered in his heart, thinking that the two of them were really singing the same tune (1); their acting was really good. He didn’t need to concentrate, just by breathing normally he could smell the same shower gel on both of them. The two of them must have come from the hotel together, then pretended to come in separately.

“I’m tired and want to rest, you can go to your business,” Jeong Gukk said weakly, then pretended to be tired, laying down with eyes closed.

Yun Seojun glanced at Kim Mingyu, then stood up and said, “Then rest well, and if you want to eat anything, tell me and I’ll help you.”

After Yun Seojun finished speaking, he saw that Jeong Gukk seemed like he fell asleep, not responding. With a look at Kim Mingyu, the two walked out together.

Kim Mingyu didn’t immediately leave but instead went to Yun Seojun’s room.

“I’m just dating him, I didn’t get married; even if I got married, I could divorce if there are no feelings. Now I want to break up with him, can we not break up if he doesn’t agree?” Kim Mingyu was angry and somewhat frustrated. “Can’t you care about my feelings? After kissing for a while, the two began to take off each other’s clothes.

Jeong Gukk closed his eyes and recalled what had happened in his past life.

The first few years were really like living in hell, suffering in hatred, waiting for someone to support him, to let him die like that. Since God gave him a chance to come back, all the pain he had experienced, in this life, he would give it all back.
