He looked up from the rows of headbands and spoke

"Oh! Look who's there. Hello, Luna" Diego said

"Oh, Hi!" I awkwardly say

"Are you buying headbands too?" He said

"Ah... Yeah." I said

He nodded and said "Heh! Me too."

"For your girlfriend?" I asked

He laughed "Nah, I don't have a girlfriend, haha."

"I see" I said

"How did you say that I have a girlfriend? Do you want to know because if I don't have one you have a plan?" He asked teasingly.

"Of course, not! Why don't you think of that?" I say.

"Haha! Chill, Luna. I'm just teasing you" He said when chuckling.

"What's so funny, huh?" I said in an annoyed tone.

"Hey? Can't handle a little bit of tease? How boring" He said.

When I ignore him and walk away, he follows me.

"Come on, Luna. Don't be like that. I'm just teasing you." he paused "okay, okay. I'll stop teasing you. For now, haha"

"Promise?" I asked.

"I dunno, haha." He says

He continued to choose some headbands when I suddenly asked.

"Diego? Why are you buying this stuff?" I asked.

"Oh, it's a gift for my younger sister. It's her birthday today" he said with a slight smile on his face.

"Oh! Is that so? Happy birthday to her." I said.

"Yeah, thanks." he said while he continues to choose. "Hey! Uhm... Can you help me choose? You know, you're a woman, you have a taste for it, haha. If it is okay for you." he said while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Sure! I can help you with that. Anyway, what is your sister's favorite color? Maybe she will appreciate the headband more if the color is her favorite" I asked.

"Hmm..." he paused "All of her notebooks are purple, the curtains in her room as well. Yeah, right. Purple is her favorite color." Diego said.

"Alright, let's choose... This!" I pointed out the purple headband with a cute little cat design.

Diego smiles.

"Thanks, Luna. I never expect you to help me with this, haha" he said while rubbing the back of his neck again.

"No problem" I said.

"Luna! Where are you?" Susy called out. Looking for me.

I turned my face towards Susy's direction. "Just a minute!" I said and turned back to Diego. "I'll go ahead. I hope your sister will love your gift."

"Alright, see you around." he said.

I nod and walk towards Susy's direction.

"It took a long time for you to choose." she looks at the headband in my hand. "That's all you chose? As long as you have that time, that's all you'll buy?" she asked.

"Yeah, haha. I'm sorry, Susy. You know me, I'm very picky in terms of these, haha. Sorry" I said.

"You know? You're lucky that you have a veeeery kind and pretty best friend" she says sarcastically.

"Oh, come on. You're the best. The best in all of the best bestie in the world." I said.
