chapter 3 No Way

" I think I know who the real princess or queen is "

I was in deep shock after hearing what he said directly to my ear. I look up from the ground and he was still in my face, still holding that smirk. Our eyes met in contact and honestly... His eyes were really mesmerizing to look into.

I didn't know what to say.

I didn't know to move or not.

I didn't want to be in the center of attention.

I just want my old life back.

I want to go home to my mother and sister.

In a blink of an eye. I snapped back to reality after thoughts juggling in my mind. I broke eye contact with Zen and looked around my surroundings. Everyone was shock as much as I am. I directed my attention to Megan and saw her in exasperation. I knew she would be mad. She is someone who gets jealous and mad easily. That's not all, when she marks you as her target in her enemy list, she will make a living hell out of you. But what she doesn't get or know, is that she don't know what her target weaknesses are and that's her disadvantage so I make it my advantage.

" But I'm much more attractive than her Zen, you wouldn't want to get close to her at all! She'll just use you and discard you like garage afterwards. So get away from her Zen!" said Megan in annoyance.

I didn't want to fight back cuz I don't wanna cause controversial shit up and be a main topic in school again although I already am. I don't feel bad for myself but for my friends. They needn't to go through such things with me or should I say, for me.

I walked away from Zen and to my two trapped friends. I look into Kiemorn and Reagan's eyes that were mentally telling them to let go of my friends and eventually they did. I grabbed both Jez and Shey out of that area and to the school's rooftop where we would always chill at.

" I'm sorry yall " I said

" what's wrong sis ? " both girls said together

" I'm so sorry for everything. The moment when we step foot into this school. " I mumbled

" Yo it's okay girl we got this as long as we're together ye? " said sheyenne

" Ye... thank you. " I said hugging them

*Ding Dong Ding Dong*

" well time for lessons again see you tmr " said Jezebel

" for me it's see you ltr during training hehe " I laughed and so did shey

We went different ways and back to class.

In class

Damn...there's actually science test today and I totally forgotten... I'm in deep shit. Ranking top 3 in class wasn't easy cuz you wouldn't want people below you to catch up and you also have to work your way up to no. 1 as well so there's a lot of pressure -_-

As the teacher was giving out the test papers I was just looking out to the window thinking about life like how every kid would do when they didn't study for test. I turned to my back and look at Jez and I knew she was also panicking inside her heart cuz usually we would remind each other if there's tests but this time... we totally forgotten.

You might be wondering why Jez was seated beside me just now before recess but now isn't? Well, different lessons have different seating arrangements and the reason why we DECIDED to seat separately is because we didn't want to make it obvious that we would be chatting a lot during lessons and the teacher didn't need to switch our places and it would also be better if we are separated but not far from each other so we won't feel lonely... But in this case, since she sits behind me we can make small talks that are not obvious.

We would only sit together if the subject teacher isn't here and lucky for both of us, the students behind us didn't mind switching seats here and there so ye. But today, the student seated beside me didn't come and I like it cuz I started to adapt seating alone by myself other than with Jez.

" You may begi- * knock knock * " the whole class and teacher diverted their attention to the door and oh boi.

It was Zen.

I didn't know he was in our class cuz I didn't care. I don't even bother to read the class attendance cuz I only care if Jez was with me or not. I'm not lesbian or anything but if you have a best friend as close as a sister.

You would understand.

The teacher didn't ask him anything and just told him to take a seat. At this point where to class was still staring at the situation, I took the chance to peek at the science questions hoping that whatever I learnt in class would benefit my knowledge and lo and behold, I knew how to do it right away hehe ~^O^~

ANYWAYS

I flip back to the cover page and then

" Teacher, my table is missing and there's an empty seat beside Elsa so can i take it? " said Zen scratching the back of his head

Those 4 words hit me hard in my senses.

The teacher just directly her hand to the seat without speaking and Zen just walked casually to the seat.

Fish.

Fudge.

No way I'm gonna let him sit beside me.
