Caught In A Gang

How it Began

I sit down on my couch with a sigh. With my parents gone on vacation and me stuck house sitting for them things could get really boring. My great dane, Seymour looks at me.

"Your bored to huh boy?" I say scratching behind his ears. I look out my window, "Its not too dark outside." I think to myself.

"What do you say Seymour want to go on a walk?" His ears perk up at the word 'walk' so I get up and grab his leash attaching it to his collar.

I dont get very far down the street when I hear glass breaking. I turn my head and gasp, "Thats our house Seymour!" I turn around and rush towards my house to see what's happening.

I dont get very far before I hear shouting and gun shots. "Why are there gun shots?" I ask myself.

"Come on Valentine you know the girl is ours so just give up and go home." A voice says from inside the house.

"We would never do that!" Says another voice.

"Wait are they looking for me and why are they fighting over me?" I get lost in thought that before I know it a pair of hands cover my mouth and I get dragged into a car, Seymour following me.

I dont even try to scream but rather stay calm as other people pile into the car some taking a different car.

I shake my head and ask one question, "Who are you?"

A tall dark haired man turns in his seat and looks at me, " We are the Valentine gang."
