One year later

The bus is nearly empty, save for a few other passengers scattered throughout the seats.

Taehyung stumbles onto the bus, panting heavily as he tries to catch his breath.

His body is covered in bruises, a painful reminder of the restless bullying he had endured at the hands of his classmates.

As he makes his way to an empty seat near the back of the bus, Taehyung collapses into the fades red upholstery, tears streaming down his face.

The bus rumbles to life.

He had always tried to be strong, to show no weakness in the face of his bullies, but today had been too much for him to bear.

The pain in his body was nothing compared to the ache in his heart the crushing weight of loneliness and fear.

As the bus rolled on, Taehyung closed his eyes and let out a shaky breath, trying to calm the storm of emotions raging within him.

But the tears wouldn't stop, and bruises on his body throbbed with each beat of his heart.

He knew that he couldn't go back home, not with his family busy with their own affairs and his peers waiting to pounce on him like vultures.

So Taehyung stayed hidden on the bus.
