Can humans on Valantea cultivate? The answer is yes. However, the spiritual energy on Valantea is really thin compared to Azure, it is like comparing a cup of water with a sea. This is because humans don't have uses and compatibility for spiritual energy, while demigods relied heavily on it.

Thus, most of the spiritual energy on earth, has been supplied to Azure by the Mother Earth. It is also impossible for humans to cultivate on their own, as humans don't have their own cultivation technique.

"Guiding them on cultivation? I know that I am making a suitable cultivation technique for humans, but that's only just for fun! It's also on the experimental stage! This seems like a really big job!" Frien sigh. This is why Frien was considered a heaven-defying genius. Not only was she the strongest among her generation, she's also a genius in other types of studies such as beast taming, talisman making and array building.

"As the second acting chief of the Azure Federation, shouldn't you earn your keep? I don't remember people in the federation assigning you any work, you should at least do this one, alright?" Hayden persuaded Frien. "Hey I at least have some paperwork, okay! Ah I'm not doing this!"

It is quite understandable for Frien to reject the proposal. Although the demis have human forms, they don't have human physique. Their physique is still one of the demigods. "Sigh..dear, it's actually really unreasonable for Frien alone to take care of this. Humans don't have our physique.." Allen tried to persuade Hayden. Hayden sighs and taps his finger onto the chair handle.

After half an incense stick, he gets up. Folding his hand behind his back, he said solemnly, "I know that it's hard. However the Federation is practically begging us. No one in the Federation or in Azure World has as much knowledge as you, child. The sages have declared that they won't meddle in anything about humans, so if you complete this task, the sages won't be recruiting humans to their side. I actually would like you to have some rest first since you just went back, but seeing as you seem so restless, I will tell you their message. Mother earth wishes to talk to you, in case you can't make any heads or tails in this project."

Frien frowned. That beautiful and moon-like eyes, delicate features are filled with confusion written on it. The Mother Earth rarely met with even demis, other than the Sage or Saintess. Looking at her decision to personally meet Frien, an 18 years old demigod, might just mean that the Mother Earth has a possible solution to her worries or the situation is really dire. She hopes that it was not the latter. She would like to play around on Blue Planet for a little longer.

"Alright. I will go to the Federation tomorrow morning. I would like to get some rest. Later, father, mother, older brother." She curtsied and went to her room. Albert sighs at the sight of his little sister's back. He is worried that Frien might not be able to handle the stress.

"Even though she is a genius, isn't that still a big responsibility? They know that Mother Earth cares so much about the human race. What is the Federation thinking...no, the sages, dumping the job on a child who's not even 50 years old?" Hayden sighs a heavy sigh. "That is because she is too brilliant. She's always been a genius after all..even in the previous...sigh nevermind. The old great clans who are nothing without the glory of their old tales are doing this to keep her in check. It's a big bonus for them if she shoots herself on the foot."

"Then isn't that the more reason for the Federation to turn down that responsibility on her? I thought that they were protecting her from the old 'great' clan?" Albert asked sarcastically, puzzled with the decision of the Azure Federation. "Don't worry. Ellie told me that she's confident with our little girl. Even though she said that her studies are in the experimental stage, it was actually quite complete. She also mentioned that Mother Earth has thought things through before Ellie accepted the job on her behalf."

Hayden then took a long pause and opened his eyes. His light blue eyes are very mesmerising. "Hmmm.. go assign more of our men on her to lift some of her burdens. I'm afraid that she's going to take this matter solely on her shoulder. She loves humans...after all...we..." Hayden makes his decision with a heavy heart. If only he isn't the clan patriarch, he might have the time to study more and help his beloved daughter instead. "Right away, father." Albert nodded and went to search for the house's butler.
