Unknown place
He thought about it all day and by evening he was despondent again, because he had completely convinced himself that it must all be some timeless fraud or deception.
Although he couldn't imagine what the purpose of all this could be.
He sat cross-legged for a long time in the semi-darkness of the room, while he thought about everything that had befallen him in the past 24 hours.
At one point he wished that everything remained unknown and undiscovered. In such a situation, he would still be with Jimin, with his eyes out of every possible event tonight.
Then he would never have met a man in black in a bar, nor owned a ticket to a so-called party.
A few more minutes and he will go into the unknown.
Jungkook waited faithfully, the clock had already struck midnight and Sunday arrived.
Without thinking too much, he put on the black jacket which was hanging in the hallway.
Sundays always had a specific character and that could be recognized in everything.
All of them had something in common and that something wasn't only in people and their movements and actions, but also in nature and its entire rhythm.
And Jungkook loved Sundays.
The taxi was already waiting for him in front of the building and he entered it at the speed of light.
The address was out of town, and he knew very well the traffic on Sundays, so he made sure to leave on time so he wouldn't be late.
The man didn't know at what point he decided to go to that mysterious event,
But it seemed like a perfectly good excuse to forget, at least for a while, how his marriage had fallen apart.
But despite that desire to forget, some invisible force seemed to be pulling him also in that direction. He had to go, there was no other choice.
Before relaxing in the back seat of the vehicle, he rummaged through his pockets once more, with the intention of checking once again if the card was still with him.
Taxi driver
Sir, we have arrived.
The taxi driver informed him, to which Jungkook just mumbled taking out a larger amount of money.
He gave it to the man and thanked him. Jungkook didn't miss the stern look of the man who, after receiving the money, turned the taxi and headed back, towards the city.
For a few more seconds, Jungkook's gaze stayed on the vehicle which was slowly disappearing from sight.
He considered whether to chase after it and return home to the cold, empty apartment in the center of the city. Now it seemed to him a perfectly satisfactory idea.
