The difference between a pureblood and a halfblood is that:
Pureblood's can turn people into vampires,
Halfblood's can't turn people into vampires
Pureblood's can only drink fresh or conserved human blood
Halfblood's can drink human blood and animal blood too, to soothe their thirst.
Pureblood's can spend 1-3 hours outside in sunshine
Halfblood's can spend the whole day outside
Pureblood's have different random objects as their mark
(Ex. Alexis's mark is an hourglass with golden sand that represents what class he is in...in the vampire world)
Halfblood's mark is their favorite thing in their past life (when he/she was human)
(Ex. If Jonah loved video games and was then bitten by a vampire, his mark would be a video game controller)
The only 2 similarity I could think of are:
They can claim a human or vampire, only men
(Ex. Only Alexis and his brothers could claim a girl/boy)
Male vampires have their mark behind one of their ears, so whoever he claim
has the mark on the opposite ear
(Ex. Alexis has his mark on his left ear, so Xiaoyin has the mark on her right ear)
