The beginning

Jewels is watching her father get married to another woman after her mother just died only a week ago. She saw how happy he was with his new family and she hated it, she didn't know how he could be so happy after his wife just died. Her step sister rose walked over to Jewels smiling acting all innocent, "Jewels is it? i just wanted you to know you don't belong in this family anymore", Jewels knew where this was going, rose wanted her out of here, rose hated her and it showed, "that's not true, rose! i know what you and your mother are up to" Jewels says, they just wanted to use her father for money since he was rich, rose glares at her, "watch it! i will make your life hell! just wait and see" rose grabs a glass of punch and pours it on herself and starts fake crying "what are you doing?" Jewels said surprise, then her dad and step mother rushed over, Sarah slapped Jewels and said "what is wrong with you, you bitch! i knew you were trouble,look what you did to my baby" rose continues to fake cry with a slight smile on her face "but i didn't do anything,you have to believe me" Jewels says with tears in her eyes. her dad sighed and "i think you caused enough trouble for today, just leave" all three of them walked away while Jewels stands there with tears in her eyes. people are stare at her, shaking their heads. She ran out of the building and into a garden. She couldn't believe her own dad, her only family didn't believe her, she hated them all. She sits in the garden crying when she feels a tap on her shoulder She looks over and there is a little boy about her age looking at her with a concerned look on his face, he looked familiar. "are you alright?" he asked, "yeah, im fine,i guess" she wipes off her tears "i saw what happened,what they did to you was wrong" he said, "thank you, you're the only one who believes me" she says,her cheek still hurts from earlier "im james if you wanted to know" he said "im Jewel" "Jewel? i like that, well i have to go now maybe we'll see each other again some day" he says as he walks away.She smiled to herself, maybe she does have someone who she can trust. As she's thinking about what just happened, she didn't notice rose was there. "what are you doing talking to james?" Jewels looks over at rose "you know him?"Jewels asked "of course i know him he's part of the Richard family" The Richard family? that's where she knew him, he is part of the most wealthy family in the world " stay away from James he's mine!" rose said angrily, " He's all yours, we were just talking that's all" rose smiled" good i thought we were going to have problems again" rose walked away. Jewels holds onto her cheek, this is going to be rough.
