Dream Café

As the car stopped in front of the cafe I hastily unlocked my seatbelt and ran out the car like a madman. Bloody hell the hulk drives like a fuckin' maniac. She's the most dangerous lady I've met. Human of course.

As I got a reasonable distance from the crazy aunt maniac killer I turned to look back at an empty spot. Giving a sigh of relief I slowed down to a normal walk. Now that I am safe I noticed the cafe.

Wow! Aunt was right. It does look like a dreamy place.

The cafeteria was beautiful..

It was a two story square building.. with a modern look, colored in dark chocolate brown with some highlights of white and sky blue here and there..

Though it was daytime but the colour lights decorated around the building must look exotic at night.

A small lawn was stretched in front of the building on which I am currently walking.

The gravel path was lined with beautiful flowers and the divine incense coming from them.

A small smile crept on my lips taking the beauty of the place. As I reached the door they automatically opened up.

Walking inside I was hit with a blast of roasted coffee and hot chocolate.

Chocolate???

I took few steps back out the door from which I stepped inside. Loking up I glanced at the name of place.

Heavenly accogliente Café e chocolateria

Seriously gramps you didn't find any better name. It means Heavenly cosy Cafeteria and chocolateria. It's Italian.

Though chocolateria are mostly found in Spain.

Walking inside again I walked towards the counter where a cute girl was standing.

"Hey!!"

She looked up at me from her book at my voice.

"Uh. Hi.. Hi.. What may I help you with?" A slight blush crept on her cheeks.

"Uh.. May I know where's gra.. Owner of this place.?" Her face paled a little at that.

"Wh.. Why Sir? If there's some mistake from us then we are extremely sorry sir. Just tell me and I will not give you another chance of complian."

"Oh no no no... I am his grandson. I just came here to meet him." I said correcting her.

A relief crossed her face before she looked at me dumbfounded.

I stared at her uncomfortably, waving my fingers in front of her face "Excuse me."

"Squeeze me."

"What??" I said shocked looking at her wide eyes.

And I guess then she realised what she said.

Her eyes went wide and her mouth opened as her whole face turned red. And in front of me she ran inside saying sorry again and again.

I stood there stupidly watching her as she disappeared behind the doors.

God!!!

I shook my head.. Weird staff of a weird owner.

Few seconds later as I stood there an another cute guy came out wearing dorky glasses.

And just like the first time with girl his face also went red.

I seriously wonder why??

"Sorry for the inconvenience Sir. You can take any place available here and owner will be here shortly to meet you." I nodded and turned around to find an empty seat.

Almost the whole place was filled except a seat in the corner. Moving towards it I flopped down slowly on the chair.

My eyes moved towards the counter to see the boy still looking at me.

As soon as my eyes caught his he diverted them blushing hard.

I smirked at his reaction.

Cute.

The door again opened and Gramp came out walking towards the boy and then to me as he followed boys finger signalling my direction.

Walking towards me he patted me on my back before sitting in front of me.

"What are you doing here Andrew?"

"As.. Well.." But before I can continue the same boy from before came to the table with two steaming cuppa of coffee.

Setting down both cuppa he glanced at me smiling and blushing before walking back inside.

I smiled at him and turned my attention to Gramp.

"As I was saying this morning Aunt and me talked that now when I am permanently going to live here I think it will be better if I indulge myself in something instead of doing nothing at home or wandering aimlessly around the place.

So... Well I thought if I could work here with you."

At last my tone went a little down.

I looked at his wrinkled face with a hope

and soon his lips turned to a smile.

"Of course. Why not! What could be better than grandpa and grandson working together."

I smiled at his reaction, lifting up the cup I took a sip from it.

"So.. When you wanna start?" He asked me before taking a sip from his own.

"Maybe today." I replied.

"But don't you have plans with Matthew today?" He asked in confusion.

I shook my head.

"He got a very important call from work. So important that he even left his things at the house." I said rolling my eyes.

He nodded.

"BTW nice café e chocolateria." I said with a smirk and laying emphasis on name.

He turned out laughing at that.

"Yeah.. It is.

Took me five months to design this place."

The interior was nice. Each wall has two very large windows almost making the whole place transparent to outer world.

Inside theme was light blue with creamy white. A few lollipops, coffee mugs, toffee, or chocolate bars painted or were hanging here and there.

All in all the place was homy, open and have a very fresh look to it.

"If that's the case then after finishing the coffee get to work." He said.

"Yup " I noded taking another sip.

"And Gramps." He looked up at me from his cup.

"Next time always remind me to not to sit in a car whose driver is Aunt Claire." I said in a dead serious tone.

He looked at me dumbfounded for a second before bursting into a loud laugh.

"Yeah... Yeah I will."
