True Mates Part II

Mary looked at the furious god before her.

"My lord. My wish and intentions are not to go against you. But I am just helping the boy. Please my lord..... oh benevolent, forgiver, kind and the ultimate one...allow me to reduce the child's pain."

"BEHOLD WITCH!! BEFORE MY WRATH UNLEASHES ON YOU.

YOU ARE CROSSING YOUR LIMITS.

LAST TIME WAS THE FIRST AND LAST AND I TOLD YOU SO. THERE WILL BE NO REPEAT OF IT AGAIN."

Clark was confused but was too overwhelmed by the ragging power of the wolf's anger.

It made his mind hazy.

"My lord...... I remember. I remember your command.

And I am following your orders. The boy will achieve its destiny. And I promise it on the cost of my soul. Believe me, my lord.

I am not interfering in it but just helping the boy to reduce his pain."

Wolf remained there floating not moving.

His red eyes fixed on Mary.

"ON YOUR SOUL WITCH.... AND YOUR FAMILY."

Mary's eyes widened and so did Clark's.

He looked at The wolf surprised and shocked but before they could reply the wolf closed his eyes and again turned into a bright sphere vanishing in the sky.

The sky cleared into the normal sunny weather moments later and with a thump, Kyle's body fell on the ground. Mary also turned normal and kneeled close to Kyle.

"Guards take Kyle into his room," Clark yelled.

Soon four men came out running, lifting Kyle's body and running back into the house.

Clark's gaze turned to Mary sitting on the ground in great thinking. lines of worry and tension gazing her forehead, sweat trailing down.

"Who was that Mary? How do you know him?"

Mary looked up at him with blank eyes. Standing up she started to walk towards the house."Not him but 'it'."

Clark looked at her confused.

"Come, brother."

Clark followed her inside to her room she used to live in before leaving the lands with her mate.

Walking close to the table at the corner,

She grabbed the jug and poured the water in the glass before walking to her bed.

Clark following her also sat in front of her on the bed.

Before he could say anything a knock on the door attracted their attention.

The luna was standing there. Clark nodded and she stepped inside and somehow they know that her question and reason for coming here was the same. She moved further inside the room sitting on the other side of the bed.

"Clark do you remember when our father told us the tale of seven lords."(the tale of seven lords is a reference to my other story)

"No." came his reply.

He remembered every story and lesson their father taught them but he clearly doesn't remember something like this.

Mary made a face."Do you remember any lesson by our father at all.?"

Clark laughed sheepishly and scratched the back of his head.

"Not really actually." He said sheepishly.

Marry shook her head.

" Well ... it was on our prom night."

Clark eyebrows furrowed.

"Um... that's why I guess. You didn't go to prom but I did. So that should be the reason I don't know it." Clark said.

"Yes... but the tale is not important here... what really matters here is what happened after the tale.

The seven lords appointed by God himself to rule his kingdom.. together formed a being completely of their powers only. The being has no name, gender, shape, size or sexuality.

It's the only task was to fulfill the reason it was made. After several thousand years when the mission was done, it was decided by lords that it will not be destroyed but preserved it to serve future problems. The being was given a kingdom of his own above the Lord's kingdom. It was given a choice to it to which creation of god it wanted to rule. After a great debate between lords, it decided to rule supernaturals of earth.

The wolf you saw today was that being. It had no form so it appears in the shape the person worships, imagine or wanted to see.

Now tell me you must remember the myths of golden mate?".(again from my other story.)

"uhh... yes... I do" Clark replied.

She nodded looking at her sister in law.

"This being here is the Golden Mate." she clarified.

"And the seven doors to reach the golden mate are the kingdoms of seven lords. They are a protective shield that protects the being from an outsider. And that's the reason that no one has ever able to claim the being as their own.

This resulted in dissatisfaction and consequently, the story was termed as myth and was forgotten from the minds of people."

Clark was just overwhelming with the situation. He can't believe that all such things of which he had heard only tales of till now exist in real. But he had too ques. to let this feeling overcome him.

"So what the wolf or being was saying about Last time? Have you met it before?" Clark asked with clear curiosity and confusion.

"Yes...Yes, I have met it before. From last time it means about the time I helped someone and angered him.

In the far northeast, stays a very large pack. Their future Alpha was a bigger doofus and arrogant than our Kyle. When he found that he had a male as his mate he downright rejected him and humiliated him in front of everyone. Broken from the rejection his mate ran away much like Andrew but opposite to here, he died leaving the soon to be alpha in great despair and pain. And till the time he realized the worth of his mate it was too late.

Somehow during the years, he came to know about the Golden Mate. He decided that he will bring back his mate by Golden mate as his. And I was the one that helped him guiding the path to the entrance of seven doors.

Then to The wolf warned me for interfering but I somehow readied it for giving the boy a chance. And it agreed but was pretty confident that the boy was going to lose just like others through history.

You see Clark he was not the first who tried to achieve golden mate, there were many through the history. Men, Women, werewolves, Vampires, Demons, fae, fawns, fairies, etc..

The thing is that no one ever succeeded. The exams of seven lords are too tough for any being. And you can't go directly to the wolf's kingdom without passing these seven kingdoms.

I don't know if the boy ever succeeded or not. I left the pack soon after that." Mary finished.
