A Start to know you.

[Andrew P.O.V]

I woke up with an annoying voice ringing through the house.

"God, what the hell is that noise?" my voice came out groggy.

No. wait a minute it's not a noise instead its a song?

Someone is singing.

Throwing the covers off of me I stood up from the bed. Everything is blurred. Reaching to the glass of water on my side I gulped it down in one go.

I shook my head to get rid of the sleep in my eyes.

Realizing that I am able to walk properly I walked to the living room.

As I neared it a familiar voice was singing on a guitar.

Standing at the door of the living room I folded my hands on my chest and tilted my head slightly resting it and my body at the side of the wall.

If every morning is going to be like this then I wish it to be like it.

In front of me is a hunk singing.

Matthew. He was seated at the sofa with a guitar singing while uncle, aunt, and grandpa were sitting around him everyone having a cuppa in their hands.

The sunshine of hope,

the hope of sunshine..

there are lesser reasons to cry,

and more excuses to laugh..

It's our obstinacy, we'll smile,

it's a promise to stay happy..

The sunshine of hope,

the hope of sunshine..

If you ask the heart,

it always wants to be happy

when you ask with a pure heart,

the paths are open (on their own)

so distribute joy freely,

what's this half-hearted thing...

The sunshine of hope,

the hope of sunshine...

there are lesser reasons to cry,

and more excuses to laugh...

Just that...

huh.. he should definitely write more.

Three of them cheered him. He gave a heartwarming smile at that as his gaze landed on me. He gave a slight sweet smile towards me to which I replied with a nod and a "Good Morning."

Hearing my voice everyone's gaze turned to me.

They all wished me morning.

Aunt got up and went to the kitchen to return with a cuppa of my own.

I seated beside Matthew.

"That was nice. But you didn't look like a singing type." I commented facing him as aunt handed me my cuppa.

"Well looks could be deceiving." he gave a smirk at that. "But if you liked it then I can always sing for you." his face came closer to me.

"Are you trying to flirt with me, Matthews. I didn't know you were gay." I replied with sarcasm in my voice as I took a sip of my tea.

"Of course I am, as I said earlier looks could be deceiving and I am with pride." he gestures with swelling his chest and a look of confidence on his face.

This caused a chuckle to escape my lips.

"Well, I am gay too," I replied taking a sip and observing his reaction.

A shiny glint entered his eyes.

"So you are single?" he asked with enthusiasm.

"Of course I am but sorry to disappoint you I am not in the mood of any kind of relationship for a long time." his eyes saddened a bit at that and a burst of hearty laughter erupted from grand, uncle and aunt on seeing the look of his.

but soon it was replaced by another unknown spark.

"O.k. then at least we could be friends. Who knows with the time you may fell for my charm and sexiness. " I smiled and scoffed at the same time

"Keep dreaming lover boy." I stood up and took a huge gulp of my already not so hot tea and walked to the kitchen.

He followed me with the aunt who came to keep granps and uncle cups in the sink. Putting it inside she walked back but before going she rises to her feet and whispered something in his ear. For some time his expression turned serious but the all-time mischevious look came back.

he smiled a bit and with a pat on his shoulder Aunt left.

"Though I should know what she said to you as it was obviously about me but I am getting the idea that no matter what I say you are not going to tell me," I said with slight amusement.

"And you got a perfect idea," he said darkly.

Woah what was that, cause it surely causes something to stir south.

My eyes lingered on his as he walked towards me with predatory steps.

Closing the distance between us he stood close to my body but not touching.

"Who would believe that you are the same Matthew from yesterday.. st.t..stuttering." A small laugh completed my sentence.

His face came a bit closer to mine "Yesterday a hot beauty like you was wet from head to toe in just a towel hanging low from his waist giving a marvelous look of a happy trail.

Only an asexual will not be bothered by it, any straight will turn gay for it and as for gay...well... I don't need to tell. You should thank me for super self-control I have otherwise who knows." He wiggled his eyebrows with a lopsided grin.

I put my index finger on his nose as I pushed him back.

"Uh...huh..huh...

Flattery will get you nowhere Matthew and flirts is not my type so...

And you shouldn't put so much cologne, it is irritating almost overwhelming my senses." I walked past him towards the kitchen door and then to my room.

His perfume is normal for humans but for my kind, it is really strong and this bothered me a bit cause I am unable to catch his natural scent. As for werewolves, it is necessary for us to scent the person otherwise it left our wolves on guard and make them feel unsafe. His is masked by this scent, which bothers me as normally perfumes don't hide your natural scent but just get mixed with it and it is pretty easy for us to make a difference between them.

Quite frankly when Gracia should be pacing inside my mind worrying for it he is instead calmly laying.

'Aren't you bothered by it Grace.?' Closing my eyes I asked him.

He only opened his one eye

'First of all, call me Gracia you know I hate that name. And second no not at all. I don't feel any negative vibe coming from him. Instead, when he is around, it has a calming effect on me which I seriously lack since your birthday.'

Guilt ran through me.

I increased the speed of my steps and on reaching my room with Matthew trailing behind I quickly ran inside my bathroom.
