Not getting to " become a woman" was hard for me to deal with considering I was totally ready. With that, I was angry at my dad for coming back the one time I needed him to stay away 😔 and I was angry at Emm for leaving me hanging even though he had zero choice.

I stayed in my room most of Sunday and ignored Emm that entire Sunday. Sal however had my whole undivided attention😜.

We spoke on the phone for hours, laughing and shouting. She told me about her experiences, with boys, and girls. The most shocking thing she said however, was the fact that she thought I was cute and she was happy that I asked her what to do when I was clueless.

Sal: do you want more lessons? I could teach you more.

me: yeah?

Sal: absolutely.

me: well, I'd love that but I think I got it.

Sal: that's ok. I got you something and you will see it tomorrow

me: yeah? lol, ok

beep beep beep. there was an incoming call and it was Emma.

Me: Emm is calling again, can't he get the message that I am ignoring his calls because I don't want to talk to him?

Sal: girl, don't be too hard on him but

Me: but what?

Sal: send him a text saying you will call him tomorrow or see him in school. it's a good way to keep him on his toes.

Me: really? ok.

Sal: from tomorrow, you and I will be closer.

Me: we are already close

Sal: not what I mean. we will take Emm for a ride.

Me: why?

Sal: I didn't want to tell you but I think I owe you this. Emm isn't good for you.

Me: what? why not?

Sal: remember 2 months ago I invited you to go to Annabelle's party and you declined saying you were not allowed to go out at night?

Me: yeah, I remember that.

Sal: so something happened that day. something interesting but evil.

Me: don't scare me.

Sal: I am not telling you today. Relax

Me: what? I can't relax...

Sal definitely didn't tell me what happened and curiosity kept killing me on the inside.

On Monday morning, I got to school early and met Emm Infront of my classroom.

Emm: hi baby girl ( he said with a cool husk voice, God his voice is amazingly calming 🙈)

Me: hi you. you definitely called a lot yesterday

Emm: I could not get you out of my mind

Me: why? nothing happened.

Emm: it took all the strength in my body to keep it that way. I don't want any issues with your dad. I don't do dad's, they are always suspecting me.

We spoke and he reassured me that what we started could be continued whenever I wanted. As we spoke, Sal approached us and upon getting close enough, she held me by the waist and sniffed my hair.

Sal: My sweet girl,you smell amazing as always.

Me: awww. thanks. Did you sleep well last night?

Sal: you know I did ( wink wink)

Me: Bitch, get out of here.

we laughed and she walked away.

Emm: am I missing something? how close exactly are you and that girl?

Me: We are best friends forever and we actually bonded more last night.

Emm: is that why you were ignoring me? I know she does girls and guys alike, so, can u stop being so close to her? she might misunderstand.

Me: no, never. know why? if and when u finally decide to break up with me, know who will console me? Sal and Stella. so no, am not giving up my friendship for a relationship I am not sure about.

Emm: is this because of Saturday? Flame, I had to leave before your dad got there.

Me: I just wanted You to stay a few more minutes!

My exclamation drew the attention of other students and they looked on as I walked away.

Throughout that Monday, Sal and I exchanged lots of jokes through cut papers. For a moment I felt like Sal was the only one in the world with me. Stella however felt we were leaving her out and complained .

The day went pretty quickly and even though Sal developed a new Habit of hugging me from behind and sniffing my hair anytime she saw Emm, I didn't mind at all.

At the end of the day, Sal kissed me on the forehead a total of 10 times. I liked how it made me feel. vulnerable but safe. She had never been more delicate with me. Emm on the other hand kept calling so I eventually agreed to meet him at the park before going home.
