Chapter 2 : Helena

Myra: Huh? Who's here?

Myra turned back and her tears started to come out. That "someone" was one of her two childhood friends, Emma.

Myra: Emma!!

She ran to Emma and hugged her.

Myra: In the nick of time you came here.

Emma: Why?

Myra: I just wanted to leave from here. I miss you so much!

Emma: I miss you too. I'll come here for sure to meet you, you know?

Myra: Haha.. Where's Helena?

Emma: Hey, I just arrived here and you're asking about her?

Myra: Of course I'll ask. Wasn't you coming here with her?

Emma: Actually, it's been a long story. I think we should talk at a nearby cafe. I can't talk about it here.

Myra: Okay. (It seems like it's an important thing.)

Then, they went to a nearby cafe.

Emma: Waiter, I would like to drink one iced mocha. What would you like to drink?

Myra: Same with you.

Emma: Okay. 2 iced mocha, please.

Myra: Can you tell me now? What happened?

Emma: After you move to Los Angeles, many bad things happened to Helena. She told me that she saw her father with another woman. She asked me should tell it her mother. I said, "Maybe it's about work?" I told her not to tell her mother. But..

Myra: But what?

Emma: I saw her father with the woman she said too. They were holding each others' hand like a couple. I didn't dare to tell her.

Myra: Why?

Emma: I don't want her and her mother to be sad.

Myra: Then?

Emma: I know where they always meet together. I can't see it anymore, so I told Helena's mum to go to that place.

Myra: Where was it?

Emma: My father's cafe!

Myra: Oh my god! How dare him!

Emma: What can I do. They were my father's regular customers. One day, Helena's mum came and saw them. Helena was there too. She saw it. Her mum splashed a cup of hot coffee that she just bought to that bitch. However, Helena's mum was slapped by her father!

Myra: What?!! Her father's too cruel.

Emma: No.

Myra: Huh?

Emma: He's more than that. He's a monster!

Myra: Why?

Emma: When they went back home, Helena's mother was beaten by her father. Helena tried to stop him but she was slapped by her father. Meanwhile, that bitch was acting and faking her crying. Her father asked her mum to apologize to that bitch but she refused. Helena's father locked her mum in the storeroom. That bitch said to Helena's father not to lock Helena in the storeroom too. It's because she wanted to make her servant.

Myra: Did Helena's father free her mum?

Emma: No. That bitch said no need. Luckily, there was Helena. Helena quietly gave her mum some food. But she got caught by that bitch.

Myra: Did that bitch marry Helena's father?

Emma: Yea, they did. After Helena's mum died.

Myra: What happened to Helena's mum?!

Emma: That bitch wanted to marry Helena's father as fast as possible. But, her father said cannot because he'll get shame if he married more than a woman.

Myra: So that bitch tried to kill Helena's mum?

Emma: Yes. She asked Helena to send some food to her mum. she put poison in it. She asked Helena to send that food because she knew that if she gave it to Helena's mum, she won't accept it.

Myra: Did Helena know about it?

Emma: Of course no. She gave it to her mum. She wanted to watch her mum eating but she actually watched her mum dying in front of her. She started to hate that bitch so much since that day. She was humiliated by her stepmother. Then, she got a step-sister. Her younger step-sister loved to ask her to do many chores for her. One day, her father was having debt because of her stepmother. Her stepmother always wasting her money by going shopping. If her father didn't give her money for her to go shopping, she'll ask for a divorce. She always threatening Helena's father using that. After a few months, her father is lack money. She can't go to school but her younger step-sister can because her father asked her to go and find work to support the family. Helena can't bear with that. She went to find work and lied that she doesn't found any work. When she had enough money, she left her family and the country. I don't know where she is right now.

Myra: Then, how did you know that she ran from her house?

Emma: Her younger step-sister told me.

Myra: Really?

Emma: Yea. It's going to be dark. I didn't find any hotel nearby yet! How?

Myra: You can stay at my house today.

Emma: Aww. Thanks, Myra. Let's go!

Myra: Eh?

Emma: I'm excited to see your house ^_^

Myra: Haha. You don't change at all.

Emma: Hey!

Myra: Okay, sorry. Let's go!
