Lena had it all - a thriving career, amazing friends, and a beautiful home in the suburbs. But on a night out with friends, she let her hair down and had a one-night stand with a handsome stranger. She didn't think much of it, until six years later, when fate brought them together again.

Over coffee, Max explained his side of the story. He had been deployed shortly after their night together and had only recently discovered he had a son. He wanted to be a part of Jack's life, and Lena's too, if she would let him.

Lena listened, torn between her desire to protect her little family and her own attraction to Max. As they talked, Jack chattered excitedly about his new friend, "Dada", and Lena's heart melted.

Maybe, just maybe, this unexpected reunion could lead to something beautiful. But could she trust Max to stay? Or would he leave again, breaking their hearts?
