Jungkook eyes became teary as he already know that he can not afford the surgery.
If his nephew does go though it, the doctors will soon need to amputate his legs.

They were able to save his arms but his (jk) money was not enough so they didn't fix his legs.
His nephew is only 9 years old & he wants him to have a good life.

Jungkook was only 22 years old when it happened.
Almost 3 years had passed but Johan still don't recover.
The rescuers said, from the look of the bodies they found, it seemed that his brother was protected John with his body so his (john) injuries were minor.
John was only 4 years back then.
However Johan was thrown out of car due to the impact of the collision giving him multiple life-threatening injuries.
He had a head injury, multiple organ trauma, & broken bones.
It was already a miracle that he survived.
He was comatose for 6 months & needed to go through lot of surgeries to live.
After discussing the other important things with doctor,

After leaving the doctor's office he find himself like crying.
Knowing that he could not control his tears, Jung-kook ran towards the fire stairwell to let out his emotions without anyone watching him.
Just imagining Johan without his legs, he (jk) feels hopeless & devastated.

Thinking back then, their family was happy & content.
His father built his company from nothing & worked hard for it to grow and give them a happy life.
But after he died, he (jk) found out that there were so many unpaid debts and the insurance claim was not enough to pay off the debt.
His nephew surviving such a condition is the only thing that is keeping him sane.
