THE MISTAKEN PROPOSAL
Today, Lethia was waiting at a trendy New York City café for her boyfriend. She had arrived early and found a cozy table near the window.
Tristain Caine, one of the wealthiest men in the state and looking for a contract marriage, entered the café. Clad in a black suit, he exuded an air of confidence.
As she waited, she gazed outside, lost in thought about her next big project. Unbeknownst to her, the table she had chosen was reserved.
Spotting a woman at his reserved table, he walked over, assuming she was the woman his manager had arranged for him to meet.

*looks at her* I believe my manager already talked to you about our contract. So, are you ready to be my wife for the next two years?
Lethia was shocked by what he was saying. This was not the meeting she had been expecting.

(Laughing nervously) Ahh..I think you have the wrong person. I'm just waiting for my boyfriend.
Tristain caine (ML)
(Smirking) "Nice try, but I don't make mistakes. My manager assured me you were interested in the arrangement. So let's get down to business. Our marriage will be purely contractual, beneficial for both of us. You get the social standing and business advantages, and I get... well, the same."
Lethia blinked, trying to process the absurdity of the situation.

*rolls her eyes and sighs* "Look, Mr. Er.? I think there's been a misunderstanding. I'm not here for a business deal. I'm here for a personal reason."

(leaning back, raising an eyebrow) "Personal? In what way?"
Lethia vitalio (FL)
*looks at him* "Personal, as in... I have a boyfriend. Sorry, I can't help you."
Tristain's face turned from confident to confused in an instant.

"Oh. Oh, I see. I apologize for the misunderstanding."
He stood up, looking slightly embarrassed. As he turned to leave...

*sighs and whisper" * "But wait... then why is she sitting at my reserved table?"

*He thought to himself*("Mr. Stranger... she doesn't know me? Wow, that's surprising. But I guess it's possible, since I don't show up in public much, and even my photos are rare. But is she joking with me?!" let me ask my manager)

As Evan ( her boyfriend) approached, Lethia's smile widened, and she waved excitedly. But as she noticed the beautiful woman by his side, her smile faltered, her expression shifting to one of sadness and confusion. Tristain, intrigued by the unfolding scene, stood nearby, his curiosity piqued. He couldn't help but fcwatch, wondering what would happen next as Evan and the mysterious woman drew closer.
