"What else? How could I have survived the accident if not for that mysterious power?"

Sangxiao gasped. " No way! Did we both get those powers because we got into the same accident at the same time? "

" I don't think so," said Xuekai. " In my opinion, these powers were in us earlier, and were sort of activated by the accident."

" Huh? Then how did they come into us?" Sangxiao questioned.

"I don't know. It's - it's just an instinct of mine, I don't know why," said Xuekai, with a complex expression.

" Could it be.... that it's the mysterious power that's giving you that instinct?" wondered Sangxiao.

The moment she said that, two different images appeared in both of their minds at the same time. Underneath were the names of the two persons. Then the images disappeared, and the Shao siblings looked at each other with a sense of bewilderment.

Sangxiao was the first to recover. " Gege, did you see an image of a man in your mind?"

" I did see an image, but mine was of a girl. Why did we suddenly receive images of them?" asked Xuekai in confusion.

" I don't know. But I saw a name under the image. We could search it and see who they are," suggested Sangxiao.

"Good idea! I'll search the name I saw now!" said Xuekai, immediately pulling out his phone.

Sangxiao looked over his shoulder. He had typed in three characters - Fan Xiying. He scrolled though the numerous search results until he came to a certain picture.

"There! That's her!" Xuekai said in excitement.

Sangxiao looked at it carefully. The picture showed a cute young girl, around 25, laughing in a carefree way. Whatever thoughts that Sangxiao had of the two people becoming their future enemies were instantly extinguished.

" She looks like a normal girl to me," she remarked. " I was initially thinking that perhaps the images were a warning to us that they were not to be trusted. But this girl doesn't look like a scheming person."

"I thought so too, but now that I see her profile, she doesn't seem to be bad. Let's see the other person."

Xuekai then searched the name given to him by Sangxiao - Yuan Zhongxin. He was handsome and a little reckless-looking, the same age as Sangxiao. Xuekai felt he looked a little cunning, but for some reason Sangxiao disagreed. She felt that he could be trusted.

As they were debating about it, an unidentified phone number called Sangxiao's phone. They looked at it, then both simultaneously turned to Xuekai's phone, which was still on. The phone number on Yuan Zhongxin's profile was the same as shown on Sangxiao's phone screen. Sangxiao subconsciously picked up the phone and answered it.

" Hello? "

A voice came from the other end. " Do you have supernatural abilities? "
