the story is continuing...
(recap): Sumire: (playfully) Do you remember that time we got lost during the class trip to Kyoto? We were so scared!
Rito: (laughing) How could I forget? We ended up at that old shrine, and you swore you saw a ghost.
Sumire: (giggling) I still think I did! But you were so brave, holding my hand and telling me everything would be okay.
Rito: (smiling warmly) I guess I’ve always wanted to protect you, Sumire. Even from imaginary ghosts.
Sumire
(excitedly) Oh, Rito, look! They have a goldfish scooping game! Can we try it?
Rito
(smiling) Of course. Let’s see if we can win a couple of fish.
Pico
They approach the goldfish scooping stall, and both give it a try.
Pico
Sumire is surprisingly skilled, managing to scoop two fish with ease.
Pico
Rito, on the other hand, struggles a bit but eventually succeeds with Sumire’s encouragement.
Sumire
(cheering) You did it, Rito! Look at our little fish friends.
Rito
(proudly) We make a great team, Sumire. What should we name them?
Sumire
(thoughtfully) How about Hoshi for mine and Tsuki for yours? They can be like stars and moon, always together.
Rito
(blushing with smilies) Perfect. Just like us.
Pico
As the evening approaches, they find a quiet spot near the lake to watch the fireworks.
Pico
The sky darkens, and soon vibrant colors explode above them, reflecting off the water’s surface.
Sumire
(softly) This is perfect, Rito. Thank you for today. It’s been amazing.
Rito
(turning to her) I’m glad you’re happy, Sumire. I wanted our first date to be special. (pauses, then takes her hand) There’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you.
Sumire
(curiously) What is it, Rito?
Rito
(nervously) Will you be my girlfriend, officially? I know we’ve already talked about our feelings, but I want to make it…real.
Sumire
(smiling brightly) I thought you’d never ask. Yes, Rito, I’ll be your girlfriend. Officially and forever.
Pico
They share a tender moment, watching the fireworks hand in hand, feeling closer than ever.
Pico
The future seems bright, and as they look into each other’s eyes, they know they’re ready to face it together.
