Chapter 1: Nightmare

Kunlun mountain, renown for its beautiful landscapes and shrouded with mystery was coveted by many immortals.

The greed of people know no bound and soon the kunlun mountain meets its demise.

He couldn't see his daughter in pain but he himself was at a lost, at first he thought it was nothing, but lately she was constantly having nightmares, and it wasn't normal.

The reason a person having a nightmare could only be, either a person has a guilty conscience that one couldn't forget or that person was haunted by the most painful memories one wish to erase.

As he comes into conclusions his face instantly paled and at that moment the memories instantly surpassed.

The thought of that make him fear, his eyes instantly turn red as he brings his daughter into his embrace.

The moment he hugged her she could smell the refreshing pear scent on her diē diē's robe which calmed her chaotic mind and made her feel safe and secure in his embrace.

After a moment of long embrace they both pulled away, seeing that his daughter was alright he left out a sigh of relief.

Seeing his hesitated look she said " I don't remember anything again" she couldn't help but clench her fist.

This man was her daddy, Xian Jingyan, an array master with a profound medical knowledge and fighting skills and also the only Shidi of the current sect master of the Kunlun mountain which was her dad , Xian Xueyu.

Both of them are deeply in love with each other, but they couldn't openly express it, not just because Xian Xueyu's position as a sect master but because their love wasn't acceptable by the people.

They were not afraid of others pointing fingers at them, but they couldn't bear the thought of others pointing fingers at their loved one. So, they could only hide their love and her as their disciple.

Xian Bao Miao, which was her name, Bao which means 'to protect' and miao 'to love' her name itself shows their deep love towards her.

Seeing her daddy's retreating back her suppressed emotions welled up again and the next moment she was embraced " Bao Bao if there's something on your mind you can share it with me "

She heard her dad's gentle soothing voice and burst into tears as her heart couldn't hold up any emotions anymore.

Xian Xueyu gently pat his daughter lovingly, his eyes carry the rare gentlesness he shows for his family only.
