Chapter 2
Blood curling screams were heard as blood painted the alley red and not a single soul dared to inform the officers about it
Lydia
Tristan, I think our work here is done, we should head back before someone decides to call the police
Tristan
'Call the boss and inform him and try to see if he has any other work for us‘
Lydia sighed deeply, though she didn't say anything as she pulled out her work phone to call their boss
Lydia
Holy shit! Cut the crap Michael! Don't ever respond like that, not unless you want me to die of a heart attack you idiot!
Lydia spat out angrily as she held her heart before a deep chuckle was heard from the other side of the call
Michael
Alright, alright, I won't do that again. After all I don't want my 'best' assassin to die
Lydia
Good. Anyways, me and Tristan have finished the work you gave us and we wanna know if there's some more work you have for-
Michael
Can you repeat what you've said?
Lydia
Well you should have waited for me to finish before you cut me halfway! As I was saying before, Me and Trist...an have finished the work you gave us...
Lydia said, immediately regretting what she said as she realised the mistake she had made, knowing that it was not going to end well for both of them
Michael
By us, who do you mean?
Michael
You already know how much trouble you are in. Not only have you broke one but two rules. Once you get back, I want the three of you and by that I mean you, Tristan and Celia in my office. Do not delay or else. Do you understand me?
Lydia cut the call as she looked at Tristan pitifully knowing that she got him in trouble and would probably get punished worse than her and Celia because that was always what happened
Lydia
I'm sorry Tristan...
Tristan
'Its okay, it's not even fully your fault cause I persuaded you and Celia. If anything, I'm at fault so don't feel bad'
Lydia just stared at Tristan feeling even sadder since Tristan didn't talk to her. She knew he could talk, but he only ever signed to everyone and she did understand the reason behind that though she still felt bad not once hearing the voice of the person she considers a brother
Lydia
Let's start heading back...
Tristan understood the complete change in her mood knowing sadly that he couldn't lift up her mood even if he tried. He just smiled sadly as he got onto his Motorcycle and followed Lydia back to the mansion. A silent single tear rolling down his cheek
He rasped out, voice not sounding the same as before, after being abused constantly
