Introduction

•Jenna’s pov•

‘Yep that’s me Jenna. I’m 15,quite young right? I’m not very popular amongst everyone else but do I care no!’ I think to myself as I skate on the road. My destination:school. I hate school or well certain aspects of it. It’s so boring there’s no fun happening anywhere. I pull out my earphones from my ears as I reach the school. I picked up my skateboard and sighed ‘let’s get this over with’ I thought. As I walked up to the entrance as I saw my best friend waiting for me.

Katie

“Katie!” I scream and run into her arms. “I missed you” I said dramatically. “Cough” I heard someone say from behind her. I looked at the person and rolled my eyes.

Jake. Katie’s brother

“Hi Jake” I say monotonously. He sighs “you can at least pretend that you like seeing me everyday” he says playfully. “Who said that?” I reply playfully. Katie leans into my ear and whispers. “I’ve got a new mystery for us” I grinned from ear to ear upon hearing this. ‘Finally!’ I thought. “After school” Katie says. “Aww\~” I moan. As we all three walk into school and head to our respected classes. I sat down on my seat waiting for the teacher to begin with the lesson.

•Skip to after class•

Katie,Jake And I we’re like the famous trio who loved paranormal activities. We met up and Katie’s house after school to discuss our next big case. “Actually Jenna the next case was reported by your grandmother” Katie stated. I was stunned for a moment before I signaled for her to continue. “Apparently She has been hearing noises in her house,furniture has been moving and some other paranormal things” Katie says. “So are we taking on this case?” Jake asked. I looked at him like his dumb “well of course we are” I replied. We gathered out things and went to my grandmothers house to stay the weekend. Spring break just started. We are standing on her front lawn with our bags and equipment in our hands. I was about to call her when suddenly there’s a loud scream coming from her house as we see her run out of her house. She ran out with her hands in the air screaming “Jesus help me!” I dropped my things and ran up to her. I comforted her as she dropped to the floor. “Shhh it’s alright” I whisper to her as I cradle her in my arms. After she calmed down we entered her house. As we walked through the door we saw all kinds of antiques and shrinkets littering her walls. She had shelf’s upon shelf’s of old priceless objects. She had portraits of old,-in my opinion ugly- pictures lining every inch of every wall. She had so many things on her walls that you couldn’t even see her wallpaper anymore. I looked at my friends in their eyes,with a stern look. As if saying (don’t laugh). They looked at me,tears filled theirs eyes as they tried their best not to laugh. Grandma showed us our room. “This is where you three will be staying. Get comfy and call be if you need anything kiddos” she said as she left the room. The room was small with one bed and a couch. Around the bed had this white curtain to block the worlds view of the bed. The walls were painted pink that dulled over time. The beds were old and the couch looked uncomfortable. “Well guess Jake is sleeping on the couch” I teased him. He looked pale.
