"Father, what are you doing?" Harshita's voice rang out as she entered the kitchen.

But Harshita was persistent. "Let me see, are you eating the sweets?" she insisted.

Rahul's expression shifted to a mixture of surprise and apprehension. "Shh... Don't tell your mother," he pleaded.

But Swati saw through his excuse. "I know everything. Don't underestimate my intuition," she retorted knowingly.

As Harshita and her younger brother Raghav chuckled at their parents' exchange, Swati shifted her attention. "You two, are you ready for school?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, mother, we're ready," they chimed in unison.

"Take your lunch and hurry along," Swati instructed as they gathered their belongings.
