Portraits of past rulers hung up on the walls while everything else seemed more grand and lavish than in other halls. (Y/N) had already lived in a palace, so she was used to such luxuries even if they weren't directed at herself. Then again, she couldn't help but notice how much more wealthy Ophnelia's kingdom seemed to be.

Maids opened a double door for her to
pass through, and inside, she could see that it was a specifically designed washroom just for Duran's pet wolf, it seemed.

*Adding heated water to the tub, (Y/N) then waited until a man dressed in a buttoned down black shirt and pants walked inside holding a metal leash
that extended to connect at the wolf's collar.*
The man bent down to remove the collar, so (Y/N) could bathe Ronan, but the wolf instantly snapped at the man and almost took off a couple fingers at the action. He jumped back at Ronan's menacing growl, cautiously walking towards the girl to give her a list of what she had to do. Wishing her luck and stating that he would be waiting outside. then hurried away from the room so that he wouldn't have to be in Ronan's presence any longer.

*Claws extended as if just waiting to tear her apart, *

*Quickly moved to the side, grabbed his metal chain, and wrapped it around his throat before tightening. *

* let out a sound whimper as he dropped to the floor, the air slowly leaving his lungs*

"Attack me again, and you'll regret it."

*Hesitantly, he stepped foot into the tub, his claws clicking against the lining, and sat down obediently with his head lowered. He tried to jerk his head away when (Y/N) reached for his collar, but another look from her made him instantly freeze.*

"I don't know why you're being so difficult,"

*Unhooked the collar and dropped both it and the chains to the floor,*

"My past liege's pets were always so fond of me whenever I was assigned to bathe them.."

*Rinsing Ronan with some of the warm bath water so that his fur was wet, she then took one of the shampoo bottles present and squirted the liquid into her hand before gently massaging the soap to his head, body, and legs. She used a sponge for his lower body.*

*Seemed to understand that (Y/N) was someone who was neither afraid of him nor weaker than him, submitting to her by allowing her to continue
to rinse and wash his body free of the dirt and grime that clung to his pitch coat.*

*Done with a final rinse, she drained the tub before drying him off, setting another dry towel down so he wouldn't drip onto the floor.*

Brushing a comb through his hair softly, making sure to go easy on any tangled knots (Y/N) trimmed his nails, massaged his paws with lotion, and finally brushed his teeth

"That wasn't so difficult, was it? You just had to listen to me. I don't understand why you were so wild
before."

*pats his head. lead him outside the washroom*

handler "T-That's amazing,"
handler *About to take the leash back from her but instantly jumping away when Ronan growled at him.*

*Attacked. Jumping on top of the man so that his paws were on his chest, the wolf wasted no time in clamping his jaws down onto his attendant's shoulder,*

*Hold of the discarded metal chain and yanked it in a way that made Ronan lose his footing and fall. This allowed her to firmly push him off of the man so he could stagger away from the beast*
handler "P-Perhaps you should escort him back to His Majesty,After everything I've seen... you are the most capable of handling him."
"C-Considering the situation... yes."
