This world is ruled by four kingdoms, namely The Northern and Southern archives and the Eastern and Western legions.

Of course, aside from the four great kingdoms there are also countless minor kingdoms but above all lies the High State. It is basically the kingdom of kingdoms.

While the rulers of other kingdoms are referred to as king or queen, only the rulers of the High state have the privilege of being called emperor or empress.

For the past century countless emperors and empresses have ruled the High state but perhaps the most peculiar part of it all is the fact that no one really knows about the identity of said rulers until they retire; a tradition which seemingly never broke in the past century. No one really knows why this is the case...

Well. I'm sure you're aware of all the conflicts that have been taking place recently? Thankfully we only have to worry about the Eastern legions and the Southern archives now since your sister married the crown prince of the Western legions.

Indeed, but mother I can't help but notice how a few of the guards and workers have been acting quite suspiciously ever since I arrived. Did something happen?

So you've noticed it too... A lot of things have changed in the castle ever since Alry's wedding. Let's talk inside my study.

Austin I'm afraid the peace your father and I tried so hard to establish might be falling apart. I've had this feeling since the beginning of the year, which is why I decided to let your sister marry the one she loves.

I hope you're aware that I don't mind who you marry, as long as they are not a peasant. That's my only requirement.

Austin

Looks like your requirement hasn't changed one bit mother! *chuckles*

Alexandria

You should be lucky you have a mother like me! Fortunately your sister followed this requirement of mine, however... A certain someone looks like they want to be alone for the rest of their lives!

Austin

Oh? I wonder who that someone is...

Alexandria

Jokes aside, I am quite worried about the future Austin. I think it's best if you get settled as soon as possible.

I will hold a 3 day long ball this weekend during which you WILL find your future wife.
