Jungkook's POV

I just stared at him in disbelief, clenching my fists together.

"No," I said, shaking my head slowly as I walked over to him. "I would never hit you, Jimin."

"Hit me!" he said, tears spilling down his cheeks. "Hit me, not her! Take out all of your anger on me, that's what I'm here for!"

"No it's not!" I yelled, grabbing his shoulders. "Stop saying that! I don't care if you were some punching bag for them, but you aren't for me!"

He looked away from me, reaching up to wipe at his eyes. "Then why do you even keep me around..."

"Because..." I started, biting my lower lip in thought. Why did I keep him around? Because he made me happy. He made me feel safe and comforted like no one else could, and I never wanted to lose him.

Because I liked him.

I grabbed his chin, nothing but guilt and anger inside of me as I forced him to look at me, and without hesitating I pressed my lips against his, kissing him with more passion than I did last night.

Kissing him desperately, kissing him as an apology.

"I'm sorry," I mumbled against his lips, running my hand into his soft hair. "I won't do it again."

He was still silent, but he kissed me back, closing his eyes as his lips moved in sync with mine.

"Well ****, Jungkook is gay!" I heard Mia yell from the doors of the school. I tightened my grip on Jungkook's hair, my heart beating faster and faster as I got ready to yell at her.

But Jimin cupped my cheek, forcing my attention back to him instead, and I let him.

"**** school..." I said, pulling back from the kiss to look at him. "I just want to be with you."

He smiled softly, his eyes wandering over to Mia. "Yeah..."

I followed his gaze, nearly growling when I saw that slut.

Jimin moved away from me, walking over to Mia. I frowned, walking behind him as I glared at her.

"Are you okay?" Jimin said, tilting his head at Mia. She nodded, touching her bruised cheek. "Yeah, thanks to you."

Jimin smiled one of his cute eye smiles at that, and I huffed, looking away.

"Does he hurt you too, Jimin?"

I instantly whipped around, furrowing my eyebrows. "Wh-"

"Of course he doesn't." Jimin said.

"Then why do you look so beat up?" Mia said, moving closer to him. "Hey, if he is, you need to tell me, because-"

"These bruises are from bad people." Jimin said, taking a step towards me. "But Jungkook doesn't give me bruises, he saved me, and gives me the best kisses!"

Mia rose a brow at that, looking over at me. I looked away from her, the heat rising to my cheeks when I heard Jimin's compliment.

Suddenly, Jimin fell straight backwards, and my eyes widened as I dove forward to catch him. "What the hell?!"

"And he always catches me." Jimin smiled, standing up in my arms.

"He's too good for you, Jungkook." Mia said, staring at me before turning around and marching back inside.

"I know he is..." I mumbled, looking down at Jimin. He was way too good to be true.

"I'll go back to your house." Jimin said, clutching onto my shirt as he hugged me. "And you can go to school."

I huffed at that, leaning down ruffle up his hair. "No, I don't want to."

"But doesn't school make you smart?"

"You didn't go to school, and look at how bright you are, baby." I said, smiling fondly at the other.

A red spread across his cheeks as he blushed, and I smiled, kissing the top of his nose.

"I don't need school to be happy." I said, believing my words as I spoke them. "I just need you."

He nodded, sighing softly as he leaned against me. "I'm yours."

My heart stopped at his words, then started flipping around and around eagerly. He was mine... what did that mean? What did I want it to mean?

I slowly wrapped my arms around him, and he closed his eyes, a small smile on his face.

"Let's go home." I said softly, running my hand through his soft brown locks.

Jimin nodded, pulling away from me as I turned to walk down the sidewalk.

"Can I meet the woman you live with?" he asked, reaching for my hand. I let him grab it, nodding slowly.

"How do you know I live with someone?"

"Because I saw her through the window when I was on your porch." he hummed, looking around curiously as we walked.

"She's my aunt." I said, lacing our fingers together as we walked.

"Isn't an ant an insect?"

"No, a-u-n-t. She's my mom's sister."

"Why don't you live with your mom?"

I sighed, looking at some invisible spot ahead of us.

"My mom and dad live in another country. They want nothing to do with me." I said, squeezing his hand softly.

"My mom and dad are dead."

I stopped walking, looking over at Jimin. "What?"

"Mom said that dad died when they kidnapped her, and my mom died when they took me." He said simply, looking away from me. "They hung her and took me."

"Jimin.." I said, caressing his cheek in my hand. "I'm so sorry..."

"It's not your fault." he said, tears rolling silently down his face. "You're not a bad guy."

I reached down to pick him up, and he wrapped himself around me with a soft sniffle.

So he never had parents. He never experienced love. Only abuse and sexual assault.

"My mom told me that when there's someone that you never want to leave, someone that you look forward to being with everyday and someone that you want to share your life with, then you call that love." He said, burying his face into my neck.

"I love you, Jungkook."
