With each step Hayatoshi took in the dark forest, the mystery and disturbance around him grew. He felt like he was drowning in a sea of darkness, with the massive tree accompanying him at every step.
"Hayatoshi... are you ready?" the tree asked, its voice trembling like the night wind.
"Ready for what?" Hayatoshi asked in astonishment.
"For transformation... to become a part of me... to join the secrets of the forest and turn into a sleeping tree..."
Hayatoshi stepped back, feeling fear creeping into his heart, but at the same time feeling acceptance and surrender to his mysterious fate.
"Yes, I am ready..." he answered calmly, closing his eyes.
In that moment, Hayatoshi began to feel a strange transformation growing within him, as if black roots were intertwining with his soul and rapidly engulfing him in darkness.
As he merged with the tree's roots, his human identity gradually faded away, transforming into something greater, something more pervasive and enduring, something that stretched across time and space.
And thus, Hayatoshi was transformed into a part of the giant tree, a sleeping tree bearing the secrets of the forest and the secrets of life itself.
