Recall of our first meeting ( Darla’s pov)

It was May 2016 when we first met. I was 19 at that time and he was 20. Even though it was 7 years ago, we still loved each other till this day. I remember when I met my lover/ husband, called “ Jaden” he was the sweetest person ever. At that time I was wary about my surroundings so I didn’t really bother to look at him. Which I do reject for not looking, but thanks to our second encounter, we were able to met eyes. Now we are here in 2024 and living happily together for 4 years now. Let me tell you about our first meeting.

We happened to bump into each other while hanging out with our friends at a party. Well, I was at my best friends birthday party and Jaden happened to be there since he’s my friend’s boyfriend best friend. Our encounter was not the best since there was a lot of people in one place with blasting music on.

I was with my friends but out of nowhere someone accidentally pushed me. At the same time, jaden was also looking for his friend “Hayden”. We happened to be facing the same direction and out of nowhere we bumped into each other. We both apologized and went our way. I didn’t have a clear look at his face but I remember that he was around 5’8, with an amazing body, wearing a blue sweatshirt with a logo that said “ Love Me”, he also had a calming voice.

It wasn’t love at first sight but it did make me fell curious about him, and I couldn’t stop thinking about him since the accident. It was the voice that I felled for, but to bad I didn’t get a closer look to see his face clearly. So I went on with my night thinking about him, hoping to met again.

It wasn’t to long before we got to met each other. It was right after the party when everyone started to leave. That was when we encountered our second meeting. I didn’t know who he was until my best friend “ Stacy” the birthday girl introduced me to her boyfriend “ Hayden”. Jaden happens to be there by Hayden’s side chatting. That was when I took a closer look at Jaden. He was the one who I bumped into with the calm voice that I felled for. After, looking at Jaden I got butterflies in my stomach. He was handsome and cute. I couldn’t stop thinking about him.

I really want to talk to him but I was nervous. I remember when Stacy introduced me to Jaden. I was blushing and he was looking at me as if I was drunk. I did in fact drink, but not to much. I didn’t really know what his impression of me was. Since I was kinda drunk and red on the checks from blushing. All I know is that he greeted me with a smile on his face. At that time I couldn’t comprehend because I kept looking at his handsome face, it was just to cute but luckily I stopped and decided to greet him back, in order to leave a good impression of me for him.

“Hi! I’m Jaden, Hayden’s best friend. It’s nice to met you.”

……..“Hi! …………My name is Darla and I’m Stacy’s best friend. It’s nice meeting you, and I apologize for bumping into you earlier”.

“ Oh! That was you? What a coincidence but yeah no worries, it wasn’t your fault.”

“ Oh okay….” “ well I’ll see you around. I have to get going now.” “Once again it was nice meeting you Jaden.”

“ yeah, no worries.” “it was nice meeting you too, Darla.” “ hope to see you around too.”
