Cordelia has been asleep for a while now but David couldn't sleep...its as if he can't sleep anymore

The sudden change in Cordelia was scaring him.

If it was before he can easily control her by scaring her or threatening her using his fiancé name

But now she doesn't even remember him...though it's good for him but doesn't that mean she has no weakness that he can use to stop her from leaving him now?

He can't even scare her because when he was sitting among those dead bodies she didn't even flinch at the sight of blood or gun.

She was boldly staring in his eyes filled with challenge and confidence which he never saw before

And now she is even sleeping beside me without any disgust or hatred...*mumble*

Can... I again have a hope that you can be with me happily? Without hating me ? *staring at her*

DAVIDSON WINTER

?? *pinch her cheeks softly* Marry whom?

CORDELIA RUSSEL

*turn around and got over him*

*shocked and stopped breathing*

Cordelia was now above David and her head was placed on his chest. David was even afraid to breath.

*drool* f...ood.

David was just staring at her as if she was some strange creature.

Why would someone dream about food and wants to marry it?

DAVIDSON WINTER

(Is she hungry? ) *suddenly remembers* (She didn't eat anything since we came back from the hotel!)

DAVIDSON WINTER

(How can I starve her like this?! ) *wipes her mouth* (I hate to leave her when she is looking so cute like a little baby...but she needs to have some food. )

David gently put her back on bed and went out to bring some food for her.

After few minutes

*About to touch her to wake her up but stopped*...

Cordelia wake up...*softly*

Um...let me sleep. 😴

DAVIDSON WINTER

No! You didn't eat anything so you have to wake up and eat something after that you can go back to sleep.

CORDELIA RUSSEL

*opened eyes* Food? *dazed* ...

Cordelia saw David was holding a tray which had a sandwich and omelette with some veggies.

*Lost in thoughts* ( James never brought me food even when I slept empty stomach after coming back from work...he never even waited for me. 🙂)

( Was it my love for him that made me blind and unable to see his true colours?) *looks down*

*frown* What? don't want to eat?

CORDELIA RUSSEL

*Looks at him* No-

DAVIDSON WINTER

Fine then I will throw it away! *cold and turn back*

CORDELIA RUSSEL

Hey!! *hold his shirt*

Give it to me! I am really hungry. *pout*

*Controlling his smile* Okay. *give her the plate*

It's so good. *said while eating* who cooked it?

*looks away with red cheeks* The chef did...

*stopped eating* ( Who is he kidding? which chef will be up at midnight?) *chuckle* Is that so? I really want to kiss that chef's hands. He cooks so good.

*freeze* You can't!

CORDELIA RUSSEL

Why? *smirk and get close to him* Afraid that I will really kiss him because he is very handsome? *whisper*

*shocked and blush* ( She knows!)

Looking at Cordelia so close to him. he unconsciously moved closer to her but stopped when suddenly

*stuffed omlette on his mouth* Here have some! you must be hungry. 😁
