Episode 1 The proposal

Olivia gazed out the window of her classroom, her mind drifting away from the monotony of the lecture. She twirled a strand of her chestnut hair absentmindedly, lost in her thoughts. It was just another ordinary day at Rosewood High School, and yet, she couldn't shake the feeling that something extraordinary was about to happen.

As the bell rang, signaling the end of the period, Olivia gathered her books and headed out into the bustling hallway. Among the sea of students, one figure stood out – Ethan. With his infectious laughter and mischievous grin, he was impossible to miss. Olivia couldn't help but smile as she watched him joking around with his friends, his presence lighting up the corridor.

"Hey, Liv!" Ethan called out, catching sight of her. He bounded over, his hazel eyes sparkling with mischief. "Got a minute?"

Curious, Olivia nodded, her heart fluttering in anticipation. Ethan was known for his spontaneous antics, and she couldn't help but wonder what he had in store this time.

"Walk with me?" Ethan asked, offering her his arm. Olivia hesitated for a moment before linking her arm with his, allowing herself to be swept along in his energy.

As they strolled through the school grounds, Ethan's playful demeanor softened, replaced by a rare sincerity. He cleared his throat, his expression earnest as he turned to face her.

"Olivia, there's something I need to tell you," Ethan began, his voice uncharacteristically serious. Olivia's heart skipped a beat, her curiosity piqued.

"Go on," she urged, her eyes searching his face for clues.

Taking a deep breath, Ethan took her hands in his, his gaze unwavering. "I know we've been friends for a while now, but lately, I've come to realize that my feelings for you run deeper than friendship. Olivia, I... I love you."

Olivia's breath caught in her throat, her mind reeling at his confession. She had never imagined that Ethan saw her in that way, and yet, as she looked into his eyes, she saw the sincerity reflected in them.

"Ethan, I..." Olivia began, her voice barely a whisper. But before she could form a coherent response, Ethan reached into his pocket and pulled out a small velvet box.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked, his voice filled with hope as he opened the box to reveal a delicate silver ring.

Tears welled up in Olivia's eyes as she gazed at the ring, her heart overflowing with emotion. In that moment, surrounded by the beauty of the school grounds and the warmth of Ethan's love, she knew that her answer was already written in her heart.

"Yes," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "Yes, Ethan, I'll be your girlfriend."

A radiant smile spread across Ethan's face as he slipped the ring onto her finger, sealing their newfound love with a promise.

And as they stood there, hand in hand, Olivia couldn't shake the feeling that their journey was only just beginning.
