we walk into school and like always it's like peace on Heaven on the first day except I can tell by all these little gremlins walking around the halls yes even the new ones are going to do some very dramatic and horrible things to school year I can feel it
I look over at Lily and Marcus and I can tell they're thinking the same thing maybe even worse but this year Marcus is protecting us and he's the best football player I know even though we can squabble sometimes he's kind of cute but I will never admit that in public it's not even in my diary
Lily Marcus and I head over to our lockers which are right in a row next to each other just like always since 6th grade when we first got our lockers we put our stuff in and grab our home and stuff and like always we're in every single class together it's not even annoying at this point it actually shows how close the three of us are and I'm starting to grow on it and appreciate it
we had to class and sit next to each other like always not wanting to get split up on the first day of school not knowing what new Posse's could be here and what not
we all look at each other and we laugh as we're waiting for the our homeroom teacher to come in
the moment she walks in she glares at the three of us and we start laughing knowing that we do not want to get in trouble with our parents if we get called up or make a bad impression
even though Marcus and Lily lost their dad at a young age and I lost my mom at a young age our parents work like they're married you remember how earlier when my dad had to leave for a quick meeting so he didn't really get to give me the full-blown lecture of high school but Lily and Marcus's mom did yeah I can even call their mom because we've known each other that long
when the teacher starts talking all I can say is that I am horrified but feel calm at the same time her appearance seems chill but her vibe is giving messed up in my class and I'm going to beat you up
I give Lily and Marcus a look but that automatically gets interrupted when the teacher clears her throat and starts talking

Hello new students, I am your homeroom teacher, Ms. Norbok
we are at the same time and our own little different special than unique ways greet our new teacher

now I understand all of you in here are the smartest of the bunch who graduated at the top of your classes last year some of you know each other I can tell and the others don't

I'm not one of those teachers who if I see you yapping with your friends are going to separate you so you can do your work if you get a zero in my class you will get a zero and that will stay no extra credit and I don't care what you do

you can call your parents and I'll automatically tell them oh you were they were talking with such and such while I was instructing and didn't feel like it was important to learn my subjects

see when stuff like this happens I'm not one of those teachers who will send you up to the principal's office and you can admire me for that I don't care really y'all are all students who will most likely forget about me and the next two years unless I really made a big impact on your life and if so you're welcome
I did not like this teacher already she gave credit to herself for stuff she didn't even do I think I'm really going to grow fond of her
this is the start of this life let's see how it goes on throughout the year
