Astrid got pregnant with Ryle when she was 19.
Someone drugged her and threw her in the room of Ryle's father.
He r#ped her and disappeared.
Jeremy tried to find him but failed every time.
He asked Astrid if she wanted to have that mysterious man's child after finding out she was pregnant.
Astrid hated that man but she couldn't end the life of the innocent child.
Also, she felt in love with him the moment she got the news.
That's why she decided to give birth to this child and decided to raise him.
She was staying in switzerland after giving birth to him and got back to New York after he was six months old, but in their way they were attacked by some Mysterious men.
