Y/N’s voice trembled slightly as they began to speak. “Well, I’ve always loved history,” they started, “especially the stories that seem almost forgotten by time.” The group listened intently, their usual banter replaced by a shared silence that welcomed Y/N’s words.
As the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, Jungkook leaned in. “You should join us for our history project group,” he suggested with an encouraging nod. “We could use someone with a passion like yours.”
Y/N’s heart skipped a beat. Not only were they being accepted, but they were also being valued. “I’d love to,” they replied, a genuine smile spreading across their face.
The rest of the day was a blur of classes and introductions, but one thing remained clear in Y/N’s mind—the kindness they had been shown by this remarkable group of friends.
Later that day, as the sun began to dip below the horizon, Y/N found themselves walking alongside Taehyung. “You know,” Taehyung said thoughtfully, “everyone has a story that shapes them. What’s yours?”
Y/N paused, considering the question. “I guess I’m still writing it,” they admitted. “But it’s about finding where I belong.”
Taehyung smiled, his eyes reflecting the twilight. “Then let’s write it together.”
As they walked on, the air filled with the soft sounds of Suga’s latest composition, a melody that seemed to capture the hope of new beginnings and the comfort of newfound friendships.
