If that bi*** didn't say that it was what she wanted, then I swear I would have broke her nose infront of all those people

Fortunately or unfortunately enough, we were at a corner of the room where no one could spot us

Why fortunate? Because everyone started running away to the main door and we were away from the commotion

And unfortunate because we could clearly see the stage and I saw it

Uncle Arthur is on the ground, some black rust is spreading from his neck to his whole body and blood is all on the floor of the stage

A man has gripped tightly on Lilith's neck and pulled her up in the air but Lilith doesn't seem to realise it, moreover she is not moving!

(Damn it! He is still terrified! After uncle became the king, nothing of this sort has happened with the vampires so none of them even know how to react!)

I grab his hand and run up to the stage. No way am I going to let some random guy kill my best friend and her father

But before we reach there, Edward appears behind the man and chops his head from his body

The head falls to the ground and with that, finally Ethan comes back to his senses

There are vampires everywhere, dead, lying on the ground. Every one of them have something common, not fangs or something I'm telling, but that black rust spreading on their body

Several more cloaked men and women block our path, swords and spears on their hand

I run away..to the basement of the manor, the one place only the Cruorem family can enter but with Lilith, I easily open the door and place her on the secret chamber and put a preservation spell on her

I walk out of the chamber. The door locks automatically.

I look back but a sharp pain emerges from my chest and I feel something warm

I fall to the ground, my back rested on the door. I look down and there's an arrow on my chest, warm blood flowing out of the wound

The pain is not there, but..it feels empty
