Nexus Prime was instantly sectioned as a S-rank world amongst every other planets.
And the humans would immediately be S-rank citizens for discovering such a planet.
But of course... Behind every perfect front, there is always a terrible backstory.
The powerless people of Nexus Prime were of course not pleased with the sudden discrimination between the ability users and the none ability users.
Ability Users obviously received preferential treatment from the government, while the rest of them were left to rot in their places. It was inevitable that the love of power would resurface even in a new planet.
The none ability users became rebels....
They wrecked havoc in Nexus
But the government refused to do a thing, in the hopes that the anger of the people would die down quickly.
But of course, they were wrong.
Not only did the anger of the people not die down overtime, it infact intensified. And the people had to resort to unspeakable means to get what they wanted.
A group of scientist from the west decided to use this situation to their advantage. They too were powerless, and just like the people, they wanted to gain abilities like the ability users.
So they came up with a way. They extracted blood from ability users, which contained particles of their ability, they would duplicate this blood and inject it into none ability users in hopes of them getting abilities as well.
But each experiment was a failure and the foreign blood in the system of humans caused a massive genetic mutation that they had to be locked up.
But there was one experiment that the scientist couldn't tell if it failed or was a success, Patient 47.
Icy blue eyes seem to hold a depth of knowledge and experiment far beyond her age.
At the course of the experiment, Nyx Darkwater was the only test subject that did not undergo a genetic mutation.
Or so the people had thought.....
