"Where... Exactly am i ? " , I murmured to myself after realizing I was in a place i shouldn't have been."

"Help me...!!" The screams of an unknown women pierced the air."

"Kill them." Laughter followed those chilling words. Was this the world I had ever expected to find myself in.

—The Opening.

I began to realize this upon transferring to the new school. Despite my nerves, my body carried me confidently through the entrance and down the school corridors. A kind, unfamiliar lady—likely a teacher—handed out instructions along with a cheat sheet, guiding us to our respective classrooms. With a deep breath, I hastened to find mine, the numbers on the cheat sheet guiding my way. Eventually, with the assistance of another teacher, I found the room. Emboldened, I stepped inside, presenting myself to the classroom. But perhaps, in hindsight, I shouldn't have.

As I entered the classroom and the teacher asked me to introduce myself, or even just say hello, I felt the weight of their eyes upon me. They seemed to bore into my skin, their intensity unsettling. Unaware of their true nature, I hurried through my small introduction before retreating to an empty seat in the front row among the boys.

One of the boys in the front row asked me,

"Which school did you come from?"

My innocent mind and warm heart filled with hope that I could get along with them. Proudly, I shared the name of my previous school, and the boy smiled in response. Just then, another transferred student entered the classroom. I had already noticed her before even setting foot in the school, and my impression of her was, "How pretty and tall she is." As the teacher told her to sit together with me, she gave her introduction.

After two classes and experiencing the warm and gentle kindness of the previous class teacher towards new students, it was time for lunch. The other transferred girl hadn't brought her lunch, so I offered to share mine. At first, she hesitated, but then the teacher came over and patted her shoulder, encouraging her to eat with a reassuring smile. That warm gesture filled my heart with warmth once again, and I felt happy sharing my meal with her. As the days passed at school, we grew closer, laughing together and forming a strong bond.

"But little did I know, something heavier was about to weigh upon me."

As the days passed, I formed many friendships with other girls in our class. It wasn't surprising when admirers started noticing my friend; after all, I always thought of her as pretty, kind, talented, and smart. She began to interact with one particular boy, and as their connection grew, so did my support for their budding relationship. Each day, he would sit behind us in class, hoping to spend time with her during free periods. To me, he was like an older brother, someone who could also help me with my studies. I admired how they interacted, but I failed to understand my friend's true feelings. Perhaps she didn't want to be with him, but I couldn't discern the reason. Sadly, their relationship ended, leaving my friend disheartened. Despite his continued efforts to connect with her, she no longer showed any interest. Eventually, we both moved on from that moment, deepening our bond through friendly conversations and shared experiences.

"But again little did I know, it was all part of a cycle."
