Prologue

In the deep, ancient forest, where the moonlight struggled to penetrate the dense canopy, a child's cries tore through the night air. Beside him lay a motionless figure, bathed in shadows and death. The child's tears fell like rain as he clung to the lifeless body, his heart-wrenching with grief and fear.

But there was no response, only the haunting silence of the forest. As the child's cries echoed among the trees, a chilling presence stirred in the shadows. A group of voices, filled with malice and hatred.

The child's heart pounded in his chest as he scrambled to his feet, his breath coming in short, panicked gasps. Tears blurred his vision as he glanced back at his mother's still form lying on the forest floor. With a sense of dread gnawing at his insides, he tore his gaze away and darted into the darkness.

Branches snagged at his clothes, thorns scratched his skin, but he paid no heed, driven by the primal instinct to flee from danger. The voices of his pursuers echoed in his ears,

But still, he ran.

Finally, unable to go on any longer, he collapsed to the forest floor, his body trembling with exhaustion and fear. He curled into a tight ball, his arms wrapped protectively around himself as he listened intently for any sign of his pursuers.
